Ts were added, though it wasn't always a comfortable fit (still isn't sometimes). And Q fell in to cover a whole group called "questioning," or sometimes "queer" (I personally care for that word).<br /><br />Once Q entered the mix, some people see fit to tack on a whole extra string of letters that gets goofier by the letter, and defeats the purpose of having a shortened name in the first place.<br /><br />But, it's important to know that it isn't an organization, it's just a shorthand abbreviation for people who would be considered a "sexual minority." That just means, differing from heterosexual, cisgender (not crazy about that one either), plain-ol' vanilla-in-the-bedroom folks. But it excludes anyone whose sexual peccadillos wander outside of "consenting adults" territory. Anyway, rule of thumb, after the first four letters, the more letters you see?
