This weekend, Aviation Nation returns to Nellis Air Force Base. It is a great show and one of the biggest in the nation.
The air show starts around 10:00 and goes until about 4:00 or so. It is non-stop action, with the newest jets to the older air force planes.

Some tips, if you go: Don't walk to the base- you won't get in. You have to go to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway and take the bus to Nellis. Make sure you remember which bus you take. Last year, there were two separate buses and if you get on the wrong one, plan on a very long walk. I learned that the hard way.
Once you get to Nellis, be prepared to see a lot of airplanes, both big and small. And plan on doing a lot of walking.
If you get tired easy, bring a portable chair. There are not a lot of places to sit, especially close to the air show.
The Thunderbirds are the last act of the show and it is loud and awesome. If you are sensitive to sound, bring ear plugs.
There will be food there, but nothing special. Some food from the roach coaches and also some other hamburger stands.
But go out and support the Air Force. you will have a lot of fun.
