Yucca Mountain, the proposed nuclear waste repository that is located about 90 miles from Las Vegas is breathing it's last breath, thanks to Harry Reid and President Obama. They are the one's taking credit for closing Yucca. Nothing like throwing about $84 billion down the drain, or in this case, mountain.
But yet, when you close Yucca, you just cost Nevada and families of hundreds and thousands of good paying jobs. Reid and Obama don't mention this. Harry Reid has personally cost this state thousands of good paying jobs in the state. He took credit in killing a $1.2 billion power plant in Ely that would have provided construction jobs and 200 full time jobs. He is trying to kill a landfill project in northwest Nevada that brings in waste from California, even the locals want the landfill and the contract. And he has killed Yucca Mountain, which would have provided 1000's of good paying jobs throughout Nevada and is not supported by the local governments.
And how many jobs has Harry Reid provided Nevada? Few, if any.
Once again, it shows that Reid is out of touch with Nevada residents. He is more interested in a national liberal/socialist agenda, which is totally different than what most of residents of Nevada want.
