Rory Reid, a candidate for governor of Nevada has been very silent lately. He was absent during the special legislative session, he has been silent when it comes to Clark County's finances, even though they are ten's of millions in the hole. He has been very wimpy when it comes to contract negotiations with the County's unions. There have no advertisements. Meadow Gold has put him on milk boxes asking the public if they have seen this man (well, not really, but they should).
Clark County is facing a deficit of about $80 million or more and there has been no response from the County. CCSD and the City of Las Vegas have taken action, but the Clark County Commissioners have done nothing except being silent, for the most part and Rory Reid is the head of the commissioners.
So, has anybody seen Rory Reid?
Rory is missing in action by design. Not sure if it is because he does not want to take on the unions, and thus tick off his primary voting block or if he is trying to run away from the Reid name during the health insurance debate.
