California, home of the very strange and weird.
First, Gov. Schwarzenegger banned the use of California welfare credit cards at casinos: Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger has issued an executive order barring California welfare recipients from using state-issued debit cards at casino ATMs.
Thursday's order followed a report by The Los Angeles Times that found CalWORKS cards were used to withdraw cash in more than half the casinos in the state.

Seriously, if you are on welfare, you should not be in a casino and especially withdrawing cash from a casino ATM. Hell go to Wal-Mart and you can withdraw up to $200 at the cashier or ATM for $1 or less. A casino charges at least $3 or more for a withdrawal. And if you can afford to step foot in a casino, then you don't need to be on welfare.
Second: Goto a fight and a graduation breaks out. In Victorville, which is in between Las Vegas and Los Angles, had a riot at a kindergarten graduation ceremony.
From the Victorville Daily Press: "Two adults were arrested and up to 20 people have now been identified in a Wednesday brawl among parents during a kindergarten graduation ceremony at Puesta Del Sol Elementary School, a school district official said.
Sheriff’s deputies arrested two women Thursday in connection with the fight, which stopped Wednesday’s graduation ceremony and put the school at 15887 Academy Street on lockdown. No parents were allowed on campus for the sixth grade graduation assembly on Thursday."

Is it to early for the children to be embarrassed of their parents? Usually embarrassment of parents start at the early teen age years.
