From The Daily Caller: Iowa Republican Rep. Steve King’s discharge petition, aimed at repealing Obamacare, is gaining momentum in the House as more representatives sign on.
Today Rep. Tom Price, Georgia Republican and chairman of the Republican Study Committee (RSC) is circulating a request that members support the petition. To date 80 representatives — all Republicans — have affixed their names to the document which, if a majority sign, would force House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to bring King’s bill, H.R. 4972 “To repeal the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act,” to the floor for an up-or-down vote. If a majority sign the petition it is likely that King’s bill will pass, as those who sign will vote for his repeal.Read more: http://dailycaller.com/2010/06/30/republican-rep-steve-kings-discharge-petition-aimed-at-repealing-obamacare-gains-8-signatories/#ixzz0sTVhNk2H
Umm, Dean Heller, why have you not signed the petition?
No surprise Dina (I never had a real job) Titus and Shelly Berkley have not signed the petition.
Would her opponents?

So, Dina being a teacher isn't a real job?
ReplyDeleteShe was never a K-12 teacher. And no, being a professor of political science is not a real job.
ReplyDeleteWhen has she worked a cash register? When has she waited tables? When has she worked in the medical field? When has she done a manual labor job? Has she ever made a payroll?
She has either been a student or a professor and most professors have no clue how the real world works.
I'm waiting for Dean Heller to sign the bill. I have e-mailed him. Berkley won't sign it. Titus is ify, she knows she will not win re-election, she might sign it to get in good graces with the citizens.
