The Las Vegas Badger is about politics, humor, sports, reality shows in Las Vegas, especially Pawn Stars and anything else interesting. While I live in Las Vegas, my heart is still in Wisconsin.

Be careful what you wish for, Dan. As much as I and other Democrats dread a Republican takeover, what if this was a plan. A deeply cynical plan, sure. But what if Obama and the Democrats engineered this?
Now, stop laughing, and go with me for a second. Remember 1994? The Republicans swept the midterms, Newt Gingrich took over, and things looked bleak for the Dems. But what happened? Gingrich shut down government, ended up resigning in disgrace, and Clinton won a second term.
As much as I don't want to see America turn into Teabaggistan for two years, how do you think that 2 years of extremist political activities will effect the electorate? Do you think that a return to Republican rule is going to fix everything in just two years? Or do you think things are going to remain bad or get worse? Are there any real plans out there on the right that are going to set this ship on course? I haven't seen them.
Either the new Republicans will have to compromise or at least moderate their positions, or they'll go full-on-crazy and alienate the American electorate. Either way, you know what? Obama gets re-elected in 2012. The only way around that is a Democratic victory in 2010.
Teabaggistan. Very funny- I love it. But what will happen come January? If the GOP takes over, it will be like hearding cats for the GOP leadership. I also see new leadership, especially in the house. So, I hope the GOP is good in cat herding.
