So, John Ensign is thinking about running for re-relection to the U.S. Senate in 2012. Ensign has been embroiled in several controversies, including cheating on his wife and trying to pay off the family.
From the LVRJ: Sen. John Ensign said Tuesday that he plans to run for re-election, a decision that sets him on an uphill path to Election Day 2012 and another six-year term representing Nevada.
Ensign will have to navigate through ongoing ethics investigations and a shortage of campaign funding in the undertaking. He could face a Republican primary challenge as well as a Democratic opponent in a year that President Barack Obama would also be on the ballot.

Earth to Ensign, talk to Jim Gibbons about this. John, you have very little support and no money in the bank. You are unpopular with the voters and GOP. You won't make it out of the primary, even if you voted conservative most of the time.
It would better if you resign and have Brian Sandoval name the replacement.
So, John, talk to Jim Gibbons and see how he felt when he lost his primary election race.
