Jerry Doyle reported today that Nevada's U.S.John Ensign will be one of four GOP Senators who will for vote for the abolishment of the Don't Ask, Don't Tell policy in the military.
Apparently, Ensign has said "screw the conservatives, I am going after the liberal GOP vote"
Yeah, good luck with that one, Senator. I guess he is hoping that he will get a large Democrat vote in the primary.
Just resign, already, Senator.
This won't make me vote for Ensign, but it IS the right thing to do. I know the plan is, "don't let Obama get anything he wants." But that's not how the Senate is supposed to work. Sometimes, they're supposed to do the people's business. And the people--by 70%--want DADT repealed. Even major military figures say it is a PLUS for national security to stop kicking out qualified people. Give him this one, Dan.
