Rep. Joe Heck is a great Republican congressman from Nevada and I would like to think I helped him in his race to defeat the unethical Dina Titus with my blog.
But sometimes good guys make mistakes.
today, it was reported by the Associated Press that Heck is going to endorse Mitt Romney for president.
Never mind that Romney hasn't announced that he will run for president.
But Romney? The creator of Romney health care that has been a boondoggle for the citizens of Massachusetts? Why him?
From the Las Vegas Sun: Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney hasn't formally announced another presidential run, but his likely campaign already has the support of at least one U.S. Congressman in the early caucus state of Nevada.
A spokesman for Rep. Joe Heck says the newly-elected Nevada congressman would support Romney if he entered the race for the GOP nomination.
Darren Littell told The Associated Press Tuesday that Heck and Romney's friendship dates back to Romney's 2008 bid. Romney won Nevada's early caucus that year, but ultimately did not win his party's nomination.

Of course, Romney campaigned for Heck during the 2010 election so this may be some kind of payback.
But come on Joe, Romney? Please say it ain't so.
