The Milwaukee Bucks And Herb Kohl Ought To Be Embarrassed.

The Milwaukee Bucks are my team, having literally grown up with them since they joined the NBA in 1968. I've been to plenty of games until it got too expensive to go to the games. I've been to games and watched Lew Alcindor (Kareem Abdul-Jabbar) and Oscar Robertson play, saw a 4 or 5 overtime game and probably another 25 games in my life time. I remember listening to Eddie Doucette call the games and yell "bango" after a long jump shot goes in. But now, they are owned by U.S. Senator, Herb Kohl and there is little, if any, excitement for the Bucks. Tonight, the Bucks played the Chicago Bulls in Milwaukee, but you couldn't tell by it by listening to the people in the stands. It really appeared there were more Bulls fans than Bucks fans at the Bradley Center. The Bulls ended the game with a huge run of points and all you could hear were Bull fan's. The Bucks continue to suck, like they have for pretty much the last 20 or so years and ever since Herb Kohl took over the team. There have been some glimmers of hope every so often, but in reality, they really have never had a good season in decades, it seems like. I've watched the Bucks a few times this year and come away less than impressed. Based on their last few (many) seasons, the Bucks really have been an embarrassment and it's not the players or coaches fault. It's the owners fault and it is time for Herb Kohl to give the team up and sell them to an owner who actually cares about basketball and having a winning team in Milwaukee. The Milwaukee Brewers, under Bud Selig, were mediocre but now that Mark Attanasio owns the team, there has been a lot of excitement about the Brewers and there is a glimmer of hope each season, unlike the Bucks.. It's time for the Bucks to change owners and hope the new owner can create some excitement for Milwaukee Buck fans and not for Chicago Bulls fans.
