Most Democratic Nevada members of the Nevada legislature have a one track mind. Raise taxes on individuals and companies. Everyday, they are looking for ways to tax the people and companies of Nevada even more they do now.
Question 1: How much extra money will be brought in through the increased taxes?
Question 2: Where specifically will put the money that was raised by raising taxes. And please, don't say things like "education". You'll just sound like a complete moron. If you want to say "education" where in education- raise teacher salaries, more administration, more schools etc.
The Democrats don't think of ways of making government more efficient. They don't don't look at ways to reign in spending. They don't think of ways to reign in obscene pay for certain employees, like firefighters for the CCFD, Las Vegas, North Las Vegas and Henderson firefighters. Like bloated UNLV salaries like Dina Titus who makes $107,000+ to teach 1 class or a professor named Douglas Unger at UNLV who makes $160,000 in salary and benefits
A man named Robert Tracy is a part time or full time (depending on who you listen to UNLV or Transparent Nevada) art history instructor and makes $126,000+. An art history teacher and makes $126,000, are you kidding me?
Lois Helmbold, a full time professor and department chair of Women Studies makes about $117,000+ in salary and benefits.
Ralph Buechler is the department chair of the Foreign/Romance Languages and makes $132,000+ in salary and benefits. Ok, why is that salary justified?
You can find how much each public employee makes in Nevada by going to Transparent Nevada: http://transparentnevada.com
(For the record, I made $44,000+ in salary plus more in benefits)
So, please answer the 2 easy questions. If you want to raise taxes in Nevada, please justify it.
