The Las Vegas Sun is your typical fish wrap liberal newspaper. All they do is complain, complain, complain but offer no solution to a problem.
The Sun has been whining for weeks about the Nevada state budget. The legislators should not cut K-12 education, not higher education, not infrastructure, not social services, not child protective services, not child services, not environmental projects and so forth. Today is another example: http://www.lasvegassun.com/news/2011/mar/14/cutting-child-services/
But what the Las Vegas Sun fails to do is to come up with a way to pay for these projects. Because it is almost impossible to raise a tax in Nevada without changing the state constitution, the Sun is just complaining and complaining but fails to come up with a solution.
The Sun would have so much more creditability if they came up with a budget blue print, but they won't because they know the truth- you have to cut services.
It's easy to throw rocks but it's a lot tougher to actually do something about it.
The Sun has taken the cowardly liberal way- complain with no solutions.
Fish wrap paper indeed.
