I guess being a star has it's benefits as Pawn Star actor Corey Harrison will not be charged in the pushing of a deputy, security guard and a bar patron in California last month.
From the LVRJ: Misdemeanor battery charges filed against a star of the hit Las Vegas cable TV reality show "Pawn Stars" have been dropped in San Bernardino County, Calif., officials said.
The charges were filed against Corey "Big Hoss" Harrison, 27, last month.
Harrison, the grandson in the popular History Channel show, which features the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop downtown, was arrested after authorities said he pushed a San Bernardino County sheriff's deputy and a security guard after an altercation between Harrison and another man in a bar in Big Bear.
Harrison was arrested on misdemeanor obstruction and a "minor battery" charge. He was released with a citation. Police said Harrison's actions didn't rise to the level of criminal behavior. http://www.lvrj.com/news/here-s-the-deal-no-charges-in-pawn-stars-barroom-tiff-120231779.html
In reality, no charges were ever filed against Harrison. I checked the San Bernardino court system web site for criminal court cases about 2 weeks after the incident and nothing was filed then so I can assume that Harrison was never charged or given a court date.
I don't know, but if you or I had pushed a deputy or security guard, I don't think I would never would have been charged.
Good lawyers, I guess.
Update: Corey Harrison's version is here. http://www.lasvegassun.com/blogs/kats-report/2011/apr/19/big-hoss-free-big-bear-incident-says-i-have-no-bee/
Umm, yeah, Corey, whatever. Part of being a pawn broker is being good at BS'ing and Harrison sure showed it in this interview.
