ReplyDeleteOh, the sadness I feel for the guy (who is obviously crushed by embarrassment), and his pregnant wife (!) is real, but almost outweighed by all the juvenile humor I get out of the story. I really liked him two weeks ago. Whether you did or not, you've got to admit, he was. . .passionate in his beliefs.
One thing NEITHER side should do, is pretend that this is the defining trait of the OTHER side. Politicians are narcissists and egomaniacs. Democrats have the advantage of not being moralizing, "family values" types. But they really ALL do this stuff. How many other congresscritters do you suppose are VERY nervous about Anthony Weiner's little problem?
