From the Green Bay Press Gazette: More than 100 Green Bay teachers dressed in red packed the School Board meeting room on Monday to say they feel betrayed by a recent school district directive that would require them to work longer hours and lose planning time.
The Green Bay School District recently sent a memo to teachers indicating they would be required to work an extra half-hour a day and would lose planning time to make room for staff and other meetings....
Marcy Levine, who teaches at Doty Elementary School, said she cried after receiving the memo. "I felt valued and respected" as an employee, she told the board. "I don't feel that way anymore.
"I expected everything to be the same. I was so shocked my own school district would do that. Other districts are not like that. Now we worry, and there isn't any trust."

Cry me a freaking river (oops, sorry Marcy for mocking you).
Asking you to work a half a hour longer is not disrespecting you. The teachers in Green Bay are an embarassment to the teaching profession and if they don't like, find a job in the private sector. There are plenty of out of work teachers ready to take your place.
