The Vancouver Canucks lost game 7 and the City of Vancouver lost their dignity as parts of the city decided riot.
From the Vancouver Sun: Downtown Vancouver descended into chaos on Wednesday night as raucous crowds took to city streets after the Vancouver Canucks lost the Stanley Cup Final.
Outside the Canada Post building at Georgia and Hamilton streets, where a car and a pickup truck were both overturned and set on fire, an unruly crowd cheered on the lawbreakers.
Hundreds of people lobbed bottles at the vehicles, shot videos and photos on their phones and chanted, “F--- Boston,” and “F--- the police.”
Flames reached three metres high before they were extinguished.
Before the overturned cars were set ablaze, people danced on top of them as others drummed and egged them on.
Around the city, at least 10 vehicles were overturned, badly damaged, or set on fire. Two police cars in a parking lot at Cambie and Georgia were trashed.

Here is a video of some of the riots:
In the beginning, the cops were no where to be seen and after 3 hours, the cops finally got the riot shut down. Not exactly great policing, especially if you are blaming only a few anarchists and hooligans.
Stay classy, Vancouver, pretty soon you will be in the class of Los Angeles or Detroit as a rioting city.
