When was the last time President Obama has been in an inner city section of any city? When was the last time he visited a very poor section of a city? How about visiting a section of town that is almost all minority residents?
We know he doesn't vacation in these areas (and most wouldn't, so I'll give him that) but his latest bus tour isn't coming close to any poor areas of the Midwest. I haven't seen him visit poor areas of Washington D.C.. When he visits Las Vegas, he goes in the opposite directions of our poor areas.
When Hillary Clinton was running for president, at least she ventured to some poor areas of town, with Obama, not so much, especially since he became president.
No wonder he is losing minority support
A couple of points:
ReplyDelete- Obama has taken less vacation days than GWBush, GHWBush and Reagan.
- The fancy bus is one of TWO, bought by the Secret Service. The OTHER one will go to the GOP nominee once chosen.
- When GWB when to visit the poor in Haiti, he WIPED HIS HAND on Bill Clinton after shaking a Haitian's hand. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=wlgM2urPB8Q) Don't know if Obama's visited the poor--though he probably has--but he wouldn't do that!
Actually, Obama has now taken more vacation days than Bush. And when Bush went on vacation, he went to his house in Texas which is where he conducted regular business, hence the name White House west.
ReplyDeleteAs far as the buses, they were made in Canada. Nothing like giving our business to our friends to the North.
No, not true. Here is the breakdown:
ReplyDelete"So far, President Obama has taken 61 vacation days after 31 months in office. At this point in their presidencies, George W. Bush had spent 180 days at his ranch where his staff often joined him for meetings. And Ronald Reagan had taken 112 vacation days at his ranch."
And I think it is also true that Obama is at least as "plugged in" as W was when he was in his (only during his Presidency) no animals ranch.
Let's face it, no matter what President Obama does, the right will critisize it. Anything and everything. What might make you happy though, is the left is now doing the same thing!
