Occupy Las Vegas has posted the contract between Clark County and Occupy Las Vegas. Here are some of the more interesting items:
1. The Occupiers need insurance.
2. No fires, even to cook.
3. No commercial activity including selling of food, clothes etc.
4. No structures can be built.
5. No fire hazards
6. No stages bigger than 400 square feet.
7. No consumption of booze or illegal drugs (oh oh, that one's going to hurt.)
8. No riotous, threatening or indecent behavior (another tough one)
9. No littering (very tough)
10. The organizers have to provide 2 porta potties for every 150 people in addition to a wheelchair toilet. (That's going to cost a little bit of money)
11. The organizers are going to have to provide garbage cans and dumpsters and pay for the removal of the garbage. (More money)
12. The agreement ends on Nov. 21, 2011 and the organizers have to clean up the area afterwards.
13. The organizers agree not to break any local, state and federal laws.
14. The contract can be revoked at any time by the County or Metro Police and if they are kicked out, the protesters have 24 hours to vacate (yeah right)

I suspect that the organizers and protesters have no intention of following the rules. One reason I suspect this is because most other Occupiers in other cities don't bother with laws and restrictions.
Second, on the Occupy Las Vegas, they have a number on their main page of the Lawyer's Guild? Why would they need the numbers of a Lawyers Guild if they want to be peaceful and lawful?
I'll be stopping by later this week to see if they are following the rules.
Wonderful, I hope that this is gonna work, because people want to spend a nice time without any kind of worrying, thanks for the great news, i hope that this is gonna be ready soon.
