What A Great Indy Car Race Today, Las Vegas Is Next
This had to be one of the best races ever, in NASCAR or Indy Car racing. Ed Carpenter defeat Dario Franchitti by.00098 seconds. The first 6 or so racers were within about a second of the first place car. Sarah Fischer, the team owner got her first victory as a team owner.
The last 20 laps or so, Carpenter and Franchitti were racing within 3 feet of other racing at about 210 mph, with side by side racing by the other racers.
You would think that .00098 would be closest finish but you would be wrong. It is only the 6th closest race in Indy car racing.
In 2 weeks, the Indy cars will coming to Las Vegas for their final race of the season and we will certainly be going to the race. In fact, apparently, if you have attended an Izod Indy car race this year, you get a free ticket to the Las Vegas race.
It's a shame that Indy car racing is far more exciting than NASCAR but don't have the following that NASCAR does.
