The Road To The Super Bowl Goes Through Lambeau
The Green Bay Packers defeated the Chicago Bears 35-21 tonight and now the Packers have clinched home field advantage throughout the NFC playoffs.
There are going to be a lot of Chicago Bear bettors who are very angry at Lovie Smith. With the clock winding down in the 4th quarter, the Bears were deep in Packer territory and had a 4th down and short. They decided to kick a 30 yard field goal, cutting the deficit to 14 points. the over/under was 13.5 points or so, depending on the casino. If the Bears go for it and make the first down or score a touchdown, the Bears cover the spread and you have a lot of happy Bears fans. But instead of taking the chance, Lovie Smith made a lot of fans out of Green Bay Packer fans who made the bet on the Packers and took the points.
So, to San Fran, Detroit, New Orleans etc, have fun going down the Yellow Brick Road through Lambeau:
