What Was Top Chef Texas Thinking?

Today, on Top Chef Texas, (a cooking competition show) their celebrity judge/guest was Patti LaBelle. Patti LaBelle is a diva to the max and she is rude and arrogant. and she and her body guards like to rough up service members and parents of little kids.
From ABC News: A New York City mom is suing R&B legend Patti LaBelle for allegedly abusing her and and her 18-month-old daughter.
A lawsuit filed Monday by Kevin and Roseanna Monk claims that LaBelle screamed at Roseanna Monk while her daughter walked around the lobby of the Donald Trump-owned apartment building where they all lived in November 2010. The Monks have lived there for more than two years. LaBelle stayed in the building last year while performing in the Broadway musical “Fela!”
The Monk’s lawyer, Samuel L. Davis, told ABCNews.com that LaBelle approached his client, who was gathering the family’s luggage for a trip, and said, “‘Do you know what your daughter is doing?’ kind of implying that she was a bad mother.”
“My client responded as most people would,” he said. “‘Lady, mind your own business.’”
Then, Davis said, “Patti LaBelle lost it. We have no idea what flew her into this rage.”

And from Fox News: A West Point cadet is suing singer Patti LaBelle and alleging police misconduct after he was beaten up by her security guards in an incident at the Houston International Airport partially captured on videotape.
An attorney for Richard King, 23, says he was on the phone with his brother waiting to be picked at Bush International Airport in the March 11 incident when he was viciously attacked by LaBelle’s bodyguards, while he unknowingly stood next to the star’s luggage and limo. King’s lawyer, John Raley, has released a surveillance video of the incident. She also has no real connection to Texas as she was born in Phildelphia, PA. and grew up there and really doesn't play Texas style music.
So, why is she on the show? Is Top Chef getting that desperate for celebrity judges? There is no one left in Texas who would want to appear on that show?
So, to Top Chef Texas, you picked a loser of a guest and I guess that is what your show is becoming- a losing show.
