I watched the Wisconsin Badger football game today at the Rose Bowl and once again, the Badgers and the coaches especially, proved they are not ready for the big time.
The coaching stunk- they wasted a timeout in the 2nd half in hopes a play would be reviewed (the kickoff/touch back) and that proved to be a waste.
And the last play of the game, with 2 seconds left, they tried to spike the ball, but it took longer to spike the ball than 2 seconds and the game was over without even a throw into the end zone. They could have snapped the ball and made the attempt, but my guess the coaching staff told QB Russell Wilson to spike the ball. Shameful.
On the plus side, there is no doubt that Russell Wilson is a top 10 draft pick.
Congratulations to the Oregon Ducks on winning the Rose Bowl- they played and out coached the Wisconsin Badgers.
Any chance my alma mater, Wisconsin, could get another coach to coach the big games Wisconsin is in?
