The Las Vegas Sun, which routinely complains about the right being uncivil, especially Fox News and talk radio shows shows how "fair and balanced" they are.
The Sun and writer Tovin Lapan (whom, I never have heard of, so he must be next in line of a long line of ethics lacking Brian (the Coward) Greespun suck up liberal dirt bag writer) writes an article about illegal immigration and the differences between Sen. Dean Heller and Rep. liberal dirt and wind bag Shelley Berkley: http://www.lasvegassun.com/news/2012/feb/11/berkley-draws-stark-contrasts-heller-over-immigrat/
The article had 23 paragraphs, with 3 paragraphs given to Heller and his views (granted and smartly, declined to give an interview) with another 4-5 paragraphs are neutral or tilt a little towards Heller. The rest (15 or more paragraphs) are devoted to Berkley and her supporters. A 2:1 ratio in favoring a liberal is the norm at the Sun and they think they are being fair. Apparently, they think they are NPR who has a similar policy as well.
Maybe the Las Vegas Sun can be more civil in discussions if they were truly fair and balanced. But that is not how the liberal media operates because they don't trust their listeners or viewers. so, they think they have to overload their content with liberal views and then they call themselves fair and balanced.
