Illegal Immigrant Charged With Murdering 3 People In North Dakota

A Somali national, who is in the U.S. because he claims he political asylum, has been charged with murdering 3 people in Minot North Dakota.

 A man charged with four Class AA felony counts of murder, Omar Mohamed Kalmio, 27, appeared before Judge Douglas Matson during a Tuesday preliminary hearing at the Ward County Courthouse. The reading of murder counts two, three and four were waived at the advice of counsel.
Kalmio replied "not guilty" when asked by Mattson to respond to each individual murder charge. During an earlier appearance, the Somali national had entered a "not guilty" plea to count one, the alleged murder of 19-year-old Sabrina Zephier in Minot on Jan. 28, 2011. Tuesday's pleas were for the charges of the murders of Jolene Zephier, 38, Dillon Zephier, 13, and Jeremy Longie, 22.
"Three not guilty pleas are noted for the record," said Mattson following Kalmio's response.

 So, we have an illegal immigrant being charged with 3 murders.  Must have been the first time for this thug being in trouble, right?  Well, you would be wrong:
Ward County State's Attorney Roza Larson asked that Kalmio be held without bond, citing his lack of citizenship and also that Kalmio is already on probation for violent crime convictions in Minnesota.
In Minnesota, according to their online records, the thug was convicted of assault  2nd and 3rd degree, theft and driving under suspension 2 times and sentenced to a year in jail for the assault.
So, this thug was convicted of violent crimes in Minnesota and he was still allowed to walk the streets after he was released from jail?  Why.
If the State of  Minnesota and and the Federal government had done their jobs by putting an immigration hold on this thug, there would be three people still alive in North Dakota..
I am not blaming Obama for this thug being loose, however this is the problem when you allow illegal immigrants convicted of crimes, especially violent crimes and nothing happens.  Sometimes, cities and counties don't turn over criminals to the Feds or the Fed's refuse to put deport violent illegals, even if they don't have a country to go to.
So, someone screwed up big time and now 3 people are dead.
