NASCAR: Should Austin Dillion Car Look Like Dale Earnhardt Sr's Car?

Austin Dillion is an up and coming driver in NASCAR's Nationwide series and will soon graduate into the Sprint Cup, running for his grandpa, Richard Childress.
Dillion wants to drive a car like Dale Earnhardt's car, with the black car and stylized number 3.  Dillion said he would be honored to drive it, like his grandfather did many years and and the car that Dale Sr. made famous and died in in 2001 in the Daytona 500.
Childress says only an Earnhardt or Dillion can drive that number but he is not sure about it looking like Dale Sr.'s car.
So, is it a good idea for Austin Dillion, who has only won 1 race in Nationwide and cheated at that, to drive a car that looks like Dale Sr.'s car?
My personal opinion is that Dillion can drive the number 3 car but  not in the style of Dale's Sr.'s car.  NASCAR doesn't retire numbers, only team owners can do that and I think Childress should retire the black number 3 that Dale Sr. made famous.
Please let us know what you think, here or in the poll.

  1. I like dillon but its way too soon for that to happen in a few year maybe but even then not straight black. Maybe black and red or straight black but in no way should anyone ever be allowed to drive the straight black #3 even Jr shouldn't personally if Jr ever drives the #3 it should ne straight red.
