The Las Vegas Sun is pretty much tied for being the most unethical newspaper in Nevada witht he Pahrump Valley Times. Both papers are run by lunatics who are just a bunch of cowards and bullies and both papers love to lie and mislead it's readers.
Today, the Las Vegas Sun runs article that totally mislead's the readers. It's about when a president comes to Las Vegas and the impact it has on McCarren Airport.
From the Sun and an unknown reporter: It’s nice of the president of the United States to visit Las
Vegas as often as he does, but doesn’t he cause a bit of disruption at
McCarran International Airport each time he drops in?
Well, pardner, you’re right about that — President Barack Obama does seem to have a hankering for these parts. He’s flown into Southern Nevada six times this year — make that seven after Wednesday night’s drop-in.
Each
time the president lands in that beautiful airship of ours, and again
when he takes off, the air space around McCarran is closed for 30 to 45
minutes. Not only are aircraft told to keep their distance, but all
airport workers on the ground — including the good folks handling
baggage, fueling, food deliveries and the like — are told to go indoors
until they get the all-clear from the Secret Service and the Federal
Aviation Administration. http://www.lasvegassun.com/news/2012/oct/23/ask-mr-sun-how-airlines-mccarran-are-affected-pres/
The story goes on and talks about how Obama's visit interrupts scheduled airplane travel but the story makes no mention of all the headaches it causes the tourism helicopters that also fly out of McCarren. The story also doesn't mention that all the area airports also have to shut down as long as the president is in town.
Part of liberal bias is what you do or do not put in an article or news story. In this case, the unknown and cowardly writer chose not to mention all the bad damage that happens when a president visits Las Vegas.
Once again, it is no wonder that the Las Vegas is a dying newspaper, that may last only a year or two more.
