From Channel 13 Las Vegas: Police are searching for a man they say stole beer and threatened an employee with a gun last month.
Authorities say the man entered a business near South Decatur and Sahara at about 1:20 a.m. on September 11.
The man entered the business, grabbed beer and attempted to leave. An
employee confronted the man, at which point he removed a gun from his
wasteband and threated the employee.
Witnesses say he left in a white four-door Mercedes.
The robber is described as a white man in his early twenties, about six feet tall, 170 pounds with several tattoos. http://www.ktnv.com/news/local/172211871.html
Let's see: beer prices are running 99 cents for a 24 ounce Bud Ice or Genessee Beer or Ice House from Miller. If you are driving a Mercedes, why would you need to steal the beer?
If you go to a casino and pretend you are gambling, they will give you free drinks.
So, why would risk 10 years in prison or more for some cheap beer?
