When I started my job yesterday at Wal-Mart, a lot of people came up to the cash register and asked for and got price comparison discounts.
If a competitor has an advertised special or a regular priced item for sale that is cheaper than Wal-Mart, Wal-art will meet the price.
So, every time you get the advertisements for the different grocery, get the best deals from the different grocery stores and then go to Wal-Mart and get the items at the sale price. Basically, you are getting the best deals from every store in one place.
I saw people save $50 or more yesterday doing this, but you have to be dedicated to do this. And if you do this, please keep the items separate and be prepared for the people behind you to be a little pissed off at you for taking such a long in the check out line.
