How can ID requirements be racially discriminatory only in the context of
voting?
North Carolina just signed into law that requires a voter ID and of course, the left goes ape shit crazy. Even though you need an ID for just about every everyday activities. Getting medicine, getting a library card, buying alcohol, buying certain other grocery products like crazy glue and some aerosol products and so many other reasons. Yet, these activities are not considered discriminatory.
So, once again: How can ID requirements be racially discriminatory only in the context of
voting?
This is actually really easy. In states where Voter ID has been enacted or proposed, there are statistics that show how many citizens do NOT have state-issued IDs. In those states, there are tens or hundreds of thousands of citizens who do not. Those citizens are disproportioniately minorities. And they also tend to be Democratic voters, which is the REAL reason for the Voter ID laws in the first place. As you know, there is virtually no voter impersonation fraud in this country. That being the case, what OTHER reason would there be to enact the laws?
