If there is a place where you don't to have a pro-gun rally, it more than likely would be Newton, CT, home to Sandy Hook Elementary school, where a mad man killed 26 adults and children.
But some idiots decided to hold some kind of rally at a Starbucks in Newtown (their 2nd mistake).
Well, Starbucks decided to close before the rally.
From the New Haven Register: According to a blog post by Starbucks executive vice president of U.S. Retail Chris Carr, the coffee chain chose to close its Newtown location ahead of planned visits by gun activists. The vists were not sponsored by Starbucks.
"We recognize that there is significant and genuine passion surrounding this topic, however out of respect for Newtown and everything the community has been through we decided to close our store early before the event started," he said in the post. http://www.nhregister.com/articles/2013/08/10/news/doc52056f8c0fcc8807940624.txt
This rally was just stupid and a good way for gun opponents to say that gun right people are crazy.
Good for Starbucks.
Now, lower your prices.
