The story line of the shows is a compilation of old Pawn Star shows from the past.
From the first hour long episode, the story line is the guys go to Rick's house for a Christmas BBQ.

Rick said they closed up the shop but they never do close.
The first guy brought in the battle plans of Iwo Jima, which is hung in the store and not for sale.
The next was John F. Kennedy's cigar box, which was bought from the store for $60,000.
Next up, Senator Pat McCarran Senator's chair that was used in the U.S. Senate and was sitting at the Clark County Museum in Henderson but later sold for $3100.
Next up was the RobSerus, a car eating transformer, which was not bought.
The next was the Albatross military jet, which was not bought.
1930 Lincoln Convertible. The guy wanted $100,000 and it was traded for gold. They sold the car for $120,000.
Sometimes things don't work out, like the time they bought a letter signed by Napoleon, which turned out to be a fake bought by Corey.
The item was a mini submarine which was bought for $3000 by Rick but the Sub was reported stolen and it was confiscated.
The next guy brought in a Sioux youth vest which was bought by Rick for $1300. Mark said it was a fake.
Chumlee bought a Gibson Mandolin for $1500 and it was a cheap fake and I was thrown away.
Of course, it propbably was a tax write off.
Next up were Chumisms, which Chumlee makes an ass of himself, like getting into accidents, breaking things and saying silly things.
The guys argued about which car they should take to the party and they had 4 choices.
The next segment were some of the cars they got to drive, like a Plymouth Roadrunner, the Delorean Time Machine, a Buick Skylark, 1915 Model T taxi which they bought for $21,000 and sold for $24,000.
They took Rick's RoadRunner and it over heated and smoking badly.
The segment was their visit to Sturgis, South Dakota motorcycle rally and then Rick's visit to London. They also went to Utah to see a Gatling gun.
They pulled to Rick's house, which is a custom house, with a huge 2nd floor balcony and 3 car garage and is located on a cul-de-sac somewhere in the Las Vegas Valley. The backyard, like many backyards in Las Vegas was pretty tiny.
They then talked about guns, including the double barrel shotgun with a bayonet which Chumlee tested. They also talked about the gun desk, a Hotchkiss cannon and the bowling ball mortar, which was from the first season. They bought it for $65000 and sold it for $4000.
The next segment was about the Old Man being cranky and his witty talk.
Danny came to the party and they talked about all the work Danny did for the shop before he got his own show, including the 1957 Chevy for the Old Man's birthday. In my opinion, Danny was just so-so in the work he did for the shop.
Rick Dale showed up for the party and they showed some segments about some stuff Rick restored for the shop including an Indian motorcycle (which is still for sale for a paltry sum of $40,000), a barbershop chair (which stayed in the shop for years) and a Trailbreaker motorcycle. They said someone stole the barber chair.
One of the items at the party were hamburgers and Chumlee forgot the buns. And they also had some well done steaks.
Another item they talked about was a Harry Houdini strait jacket but there was no sale for it.
Another item was the gambling tool kit. Rick offered $6000 but there was no sale.
Next up was an Indian motorcycle that was owned by Steve McQueen and there was no sale because the guy didn't want to sell it. So why bring it in? Oh wait, to get on TV.
Sports memorabilia was the item they talked next including Secretariat horseshoe, a Babe Ruth signed card, a 2004 Super Bowl ring from Ricky Bryant of the New England Patriots and it was bought for $20,000. They also had a Willie Mays game worn uniform from 1961 and it sold for $31,000. They also had a hockey stick from the 1980 Miracle On Ice U.S. Hockey team that was autographed but there was no sale.
Rick then talked about some of the celebrities who came into the store like Steve Carell, Bob Dylan with Chumlee, a fake Prince, Katie Couric and George Stephanopoulos.
They also talked about some pranks they did at the shop including telling Rick about a Steve McQueen but got sent to a wig shop, the $10,000 lottery ticket Corey gave Chumlee which was fake and Chumlee's revenge.
In the 2nd episode, it was Christmas time and they gambled about the guys drawing a Christmas card and the winner gets all the they put into the kitty. Chumlee went to Danny Koker for some help drawing Chumlee standing next to a good looking car but Danny stole Chumlee's idea. Rick got Dean Heller, an Republican U.S. Senator from Nevada to appear with Rick on his card.
The first guy brought in a Lionel train set. http://www.lionel.com/. The train was 90 years old (1923). The guy wanted $1100 for train and parts.
Johnny came in was impressed with the layout. Time for Johnny and they set up the train in the back of the store.
Johnny said the set was used but working and worth about $1400. Corey offered $800 and then $1000 and that was the sale price.
The next guy wanted to buy a 1975 Golden State Warriors championship ring. The guy really tested the ring to make sure it was not a fake and he said the ring was real. Rick wanted $11,500 and then $11,000 and the guy wanted $5500 and there was no sale.
They showed some Christmas carolers in the store...of course they shot this in July.
The next guy brought in 2 McDonald's Filet of Fish kiddie ride. The guy wanted $800 and Corey offered $300 for both and then $450. The guy wanted to see the manager over Corey and that didn't go over well. There was no sale and Corey sounded like Grinch/jerk.
In the episode's trivia, it asked which person owned a McDonald drive through near their home and the choices were Arnold Schwarzenegger, Donald Trump and Queen Elizabeth. And the answer is... Lilly, the intern baked and brought in some cookies for everyone and suggested they have a Christmas party, which the Old Man cancelled. The Old Man relented and they were going to have a party and the theme was a horrible looking sweater contest.

It was a drill book for the U.S. Army and teach the men to be soldiers. Rick determined it was real and the guy wanted $6500 and time for Rebecca.
Rebecca came in and said the book was very cool and it was a first edition. She said the book was worth $18,000. The guy went up to $12,000 and Rick offered $10,000 and then $11,000 and that was the sale price.
The next guy brought in a Jim Henson puppet, "Rudy Bear". It was a big bear with a big mustache, glasses and long hair on top. The seller actually designed it and Henson and his company made it for the seller. The owner wanted to pawn it and the guy wanted to get a loan for $10,000. Rick offered $500. The guy came down to $1000 and that was the deal.
At the party they dressed up as Santa Claus but they said early that they were going to have a ugly sweater contest... except Rick who came in with a sweater. Chumlee gave Rick an elf suit- which looked more a Robin Hood costume. Chumlee got a picture of him and Brittany Spears and he won he contest and all the beer that went with it but Chumlee shared the beer and then 3 of the employees got DUI's on their way home.
