From the LVRJ and Sherman Fredericks:
Here’s what I’d like to do with my U.S. Senator, Harry Reid.
I’d like to force him to sit in the auditorium at the veteran’s cemetery in Boulder City and watch the movie “Lone Survivor” with the family of Nevadans who were wounded or killed in the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Then I’d like him to explain what he meant, as our soldiers fought in Iraq in 2007, when he said:
“I believe myself that the secretary of state, secretary of defense and — you have to make your own decisions as to what the president knows — (know) this war is lost and the surge is not accomplishing anything…”
While our men died, Reid called the war lost. He was wrong. The surge worked. We didn’t lose. We won. http://www.reviewjournal.com/columns-blogs/sherman-frederick/dear-harry-reid-let-s-go-see-lone-survivor
The one thing Fredericks is wrong is that we won the war in Afghanistan and Iraq.
With President Obama's retreat and basic surrender in Iraq and Afghanistan, we have lost those wars. The Taliban and Al Qaeda are making a resurgence, civilians are being killed by the enemy and there is no guarantee the terrorists won't take over these countries and allow terrorists to practice their terror and strike out at nations, including the United States. It will be like pre-9-11-01 all over again, thanks to Obama.
