Maybe Indian Rain/Snow Dances May Help...Or

They got darn lucky..
From the Reno Gazette Journal:
A snow dance performed by a group of traditional Native American dancers produced immediate results at Lake Tahoe on Saturday.
More than 10 girls in the Eagle Wings troupe, wearing colorful jewelry and dressed in the traditional dress of Great Basin tribes, stomped in unison to beating drums as they danced at the entrance of Sugar Pine Point State Park. Their hair stuck to their faces as they performed in the rain and snow for the Olympic Heritage Celebration.
Heidi Doyle, executive director of event sponsor Sierra State Parks Foundation, said she’s becoming a believer in the snow dance because the Nevada-based group was booked for the ceremony in October, and it’s the first snow around Tahoe since early last month.  http://www.rgj.com/viewart/20140111/NEWS/301110025/Great-Basin-tribal-snow-dance-pays-off-Tahoe
