From the New York Daily News:
A nun suffering from stomach cramps has given birth to a baby boy.
She was rushed to hospital in Italy after feeling unwell, Italian media reported.
The 31-year-old, who did not know she was pregnant, subsequently gave birth to a nine-pound boy.
Mother and baby were doing well and The Local reported that other new moms in the hospital in Rieti, central Italy, had begun collecting clothes for her.
The nun, who took a vow of chastity, was quoted as saying: "I did not know I was pregnant. I only felt a stomach pain," Italian news agency ANSA reported.
The boy has been named Francesco (Francis), the current Pope's chosen title.
She belongs to the "Little Disciples of Jesus" convent near Rieti, which manages an old people's home.
Reports in The Local suggested she would keep the baby.
Her fellow nuns were said to be "very surprised."

Well, yeah, I bet the other nuns were surprised.
I guess you can hide a pregnancy under all the nun clothes, especially when the baby is a 9 pounder.
I wonder how long she was a nun- if more than 9 months, then she has a lot of explaining to do... unless she is a virgin and the baby is the 2nd coming of Jesus and then you will have a lot of upset atheists.
