From the Minot Daily News: Sixty-four people were charged for underage drinking, detox or disorderly conduct early Sunday after police responded to a call about a loud party in northwest Minot.
According to a press release, officers initially attempted to make contact at the residence, but no one would answer the door. Police then obtained a search warrant and searched the residence.
The press release said 27 juveniles and 37 adults were arrested, with six of the adults being placed in the Ward County Jail due to their level of intoxication. There were 71 charges. It used to be the parents would handle the drunk kids, but no more, it's the cops who are doing the parents work.
