Solar Panels Start Fire At School
Solar panels on fire- not all that safe
There goes a bunch of carbon footprints.
From the LVRJ: Firefighters battled a blaze at Faith Lutheran Middle School and High School Wednesday afternoon.
The fire was reported about 4:45 p.m. Clark County firefighters arrived at the school, near Hualapai Way and Charleston Boulevard, and found roof solar panels on fire. The school had already been evacuated, firefighters said.
Firefighters checked the inside of the building and went to the roof to extinguish the flames.
There were no injuries reported. Firefighters are still investigating what started the fire and assessing the damage it caused. http://www.reviewjournal.com/news/fire-rescue/solar-panels-burn-faith-lutheran-school
