Buried in the story about 2 attorney generals in Utah being indicted is that the prosecutors are asking the Feds to investigate Harry Reid.
From the LVRJ: Swallow resigned in late 2013 after spending nearly 11 months dogged by the bribery and corruption allegations. He adamantly denied breaking any laws and said the toll of the scrutiny had become too much for him and his family.
The first bombshell allegations dropped less than a week after Swallow took the oath of office in January 2013, when a businessman in trouble with federal regulators accused Swallow of arranging a bribery plot involving Reid. Reid and Swallow, who pledged to fight white-collar crime during his campaign, denied the allegations.
In the months following, the accusations and investigations snowballed and led to probes by the U.S. Department of Justice, Utah elections officials and the state bar. http://www.reviewjournal.com/news/nation-and-world/2-utah-ex-attorneys-general-arrested-bribery-charges
However, in the print edition of the LVRJ today, the prosecutor and attorney general are begging for help from the Feds because they are not able to handle such a big investigation, which leaves me to wonder how much the FBI is really cooperating.
The case is in State court.
Those involved in bringing the case are begging for help from the Feds.
So, will Eric Holder investigate Senile Harry Reid?
If you think that Eric Holder will investigate Reid for anything, then you believe in global warming, Barack Obama is the best president ever and the Sun will set in the East tomorrow.
This is like asking Jerry Sandusky to investigate Michael Jackson.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure Jimby Greenpeasoup will be by later to defend the Adminstration's actions and glaring conflict-of-interest.
