From Arizona Central:
NFL Hall of Fame lineman Warren Sapp was arrested Monday in Phoenix on suspicion of soliciting a prostitute, authorities say.
Sapp, 42, of Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Oakland Raiders fame, also faces an assault charge, according to a Maricopa County Sheriff's Office spokesman.
Both crimes are misdemeanors.
Sapp had been in the Valley for Super Bowl XLIX as a broadcaster for the NFL Network. He has since been fired from the network, according to a league official.
Police were originally called to the Renaissance Hotel for a noise disturbance at about 7 a.m. Monday, but they arrived to find a woman who claimed to have been assaulted, said Sgt. Trent Crump, a Phoenix police spokesman.
The woman told police that she and another woman were working as escorts and that an argument about money in a guest's room turned physical and spilled out into the hallway, Crump said. That guest, authorities say, was Sapp.
Investigators determined that an act of prostitution had occurred in the guest's room, and Sapp was arrested, Crump said. Investigators said they observed minor injuries on the women that were consistent with assault, Crump said. Sapp told investigators that he paid one of the women for sex but he denied any assault, according to police. http://www.azcentral.com/story/news/local/super-bowl/2015/02/02/warren-sapp-arrested-phoenix/22756253/
You are rich, famous, married with 2 kids and have a great job most people would die for and what do you go?
Go out and get a hooker for the evening and he probably tried to get a freebie. What an idiot.
Hope his wife enjoys the millions she is going to get from the divorce.
Wonder if Sheriff Joe had him dress in pink underwear?
