From Fox News: A federal judge on Friday blocked the release of any recordings made at meetings of an abortion providers' association by an anti-abortion group that previously revealed secretly recorded videos of a Planned Parenthood leader.
Judge William Orrick in San Francisco issued a temporary restraining order against the Center for Medical Progress hours after the order was requested by the National Abortion Federation.
In his three-page order, Orrick said the federation would likely suffer irreparable injury absent a temporary restraining order "in the form of harassment, intimidation, violence, invasion of privacy, and injury to reputation."
The National Abortion Federation sued in federal court in San Francisco, alleging that the Center for Medical Progress infiltrated its meetings and recorded its members. The group says release of any audio or video would put members in danger.
"The safety and security of our members is our top priority," Vicki Saporta, association president and CEO, said in a statement. "That security has been compromised by the illegal activities of a group with ties to those who believe it is justifiable to murder abortion providers."
David Daleiden, a leader of the Center for Medical Progress who is also named in the suit, said in a statement that Planned Parenthood and its allies were trying to silence the group and suppress investigative journalism.
"The Center for Medical Progress follows all applicable laws in the course of our investigative journalism work and will contest all attempts from Planned Parenthood and their allies to silence our First Amendment rights," he said.
The center has released several secretly recorded videos that have riled anti-abortion activists, including one Thursday of a Planned Parenthood doctor in Colorado. It has accused Planned Parenthood of selling fetal tissue for profit, which is illegal, and Republicans in Congress have begun discussing cutting off funding for the organization.
The undercover video released Thursday shows Dr. Savita Ginde, vice president of Denver-based Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains, discussing prices of aborted fetal remains, the center says. Planned Parenthood issued a statement calling the video "misleading and deceptively edited."
An earlier video shows Dr. Deborah Nucatola, Planned Parenthood's senior director of medical services, describing techniques for obtaining fetal body parts for research. She spoke over lunch with activists posing as potential buyers from a human biologics company. http://www.foxnews.com/us/2015/07/31/judge-blocks-release-recordings-by-anti-abortion-group/?intcmp=hpbt1
So, an Obama nominated judge, who was approved by the Democrats has decided that free speech is not worth anything and he has decided that abortion providers, especially late term abortion providers are more important than the constitution and legal precedent.
This Obama judge is a disgrace and an idiot. He has decided that a pro-abortion group is more important than the constitution and free speech.
Another horrible Obama legacy.

Obama To Visi Vegas Girlfriend In July
From the LVRJ: President Barack Obama is lined up this month for yet another trip to Las Vegas, officials confirmed Friday.
Obama will be the keynote speaker at the National Clean Energy Summit on Aug. 24 at Mandalay Bay. It is the eighth annual gathering of renewable energy advocates, an event established by Sen. Harry Reid, D-Nev.
Energy Secretary Ernest Moniz, whose celebrity has grown since helping negotiate the Obama administration's nuclear pact with Iran, has been confirmed as a speaker at the one-day conference. The headliner last year was former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
It was not immediately clear how long Obama will be in Southern Nevada or whether he will take part in other official or fundraising events while here. The White House did not comment Friday.
The trip would mark Obama's 18th to Nevada and 14th to Southern Nevada during his presidency, the most by far of any sitting president. http://www.reviewjournal.com/news/obama-plans-14th-trip-las-vegas-august
I have been saying for many years that Obama has a secret girl friend in Las Vegas, especially based on the number of visits he has made and many, like this trip really is not a matter of national interest.
And does it seem strange that Obama is going to visit Las Vegas to give a speech at the National Clean Energy Summit and to get here, he has to travel in a 747 from the East Coast, burning a ton of fuel, will travel in a huge motorcade to basically go across the street and then go in reverse- motorcade to the airport and another 747 plane ride back to the East Coast.
Is that using clean energy or is it polluting Mother Earth tremendously?
My bet is on the latter.

If This were A LGBT Flag, It Would be free Speech
From Channel 11, Atlanta: Police are investigating after four Confederate flags were placed outside of Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta early Thursday.
Atlanta Police Chief George Turner said that authorities have images of two white men placing the flags outside of the historic church.
Authorities are working to determine if the flags were placed on federal or church property.
According to police, those responsible for placing the flags could face charges including criminal trespassing, terroristic threats and littering. http://www.11alive.com/story/news/local/downtown-atlanta-castleberry-hill/2015/07/30/confederate-flags-ebenezer-baptist-church/30878981/
The Atlanta cops are a bit funny in their outrage.
First, terroristic threats? Seriously, so every Confederate flag flown now is a terroristic threat? Trespassing and littering, a very slight possibility but certainly not a terroristic threat.
And if this were a liberal flag like say, the Gay Pride flag, Green Peace or even if they burned the American flag, that would be considered free speech.
But a Confederate flag. Oh no.
The police chief, some liberals and the Blacks who are outraged, and my guess, it is faux outrage and their outrage gets them in front of TV cameras, need to get a grip and stop acting like a bunch of pansies.
I'm Popular In... Russia?
Lately, according to the statistics kept by Blogger and Google, my blog is more popular in Russia than here in the United States about 16% more.
Why?
Is Vladimir Putin a fan?

Power Rankings: Presidential Field
Many (well, at least 2- ESPN and Fox Sports) issue power rankings to teams and in the case of NASCAR, drivers, in different sports.
In college sports, they have numerous polls showing who is in first place.
Mind you, these rankings really mean nothing and they are only opinions of the people who vote or write the columns. They may vote or write, even if they are not experts in their field.
And so, to try and copy these power rankings and polls, I am going to list the strongest to the weakest major candidates in the presidential field, from my perspective. And that perspective is a person, a mostly conservative person, who has some knowledge of the candidates and issues but not a whole lot- I am not some kind of political wonk but I am not completely ignorant like those man/women of the street interviews who would vote to clean up the nation of H20 (water) or carbon dioxide.
So, here goes and if enough people read, I will come out every so often and redo the list. If no one reads it or I put people to sleep, well, I am one and done. And if you have a different opinion, please share it with us.
This week, I will do most of the major contenders and then drop down to the top 20, then 15 and so on before we get the final 2 or 3.
1. Donald Trump: The Donald is driving the campaign, whether you like it or not. He can criticize others but really can't take it and he needs to come up with ideas along with 1 liners.
2. Scott Walker: He can beat Hillary and the Donald and anybody who eats a hamburger and drink a Schlitz beer at Billy Goat Tavern in Chicago, home of the FIB's and Cubs, can't be all that bad. Plus the Unions still hate him, which is good.
3. Hillary Clinton: The Good: Just about everyone knows Hillary, so she doesn't need to introduce herself. The bad: Just about everyone knows her and she won't gain much support but may lose a lot, except of hard core Hillary and Bill fans. Speaking of hard core, is anybody surprised that Bill is still carrying on with a blonde mistresses when Hillary is away from home, which is probably 96% of the time. And getting a $600 haircut does not make you more in touch with the middle class.
4. Bernie Sanders: For a complete Socialist/Communist, he is doing pretty good in the polls. But it is probably more of wishful thinking of the media, so they can pretend there is a race for the Democrat primary. Also proof that this race is a good one for guys with bad hair: Trump, Sanders, Walker, Hillary...
5. Jeb Bush: Still raking in the money and still doing poorly in the polls. Might be the most boring guy out there. Ideas are bland, his life is rich but bland, hair is decent. He just doesn't stand out to the average voter- but he does have the establishment GOP voters behind him.
6. Chris Christie: Bet he wishes the movie "Back to the Future" was real and he could get a time machine to go back about 5 years when he was really popular. But alas, he's a FOB (Friend of Barack), runs a terrible State with high taxes and his bombastic lines aren't cute anymore, especially since Trump is in the race.
7. Ted Cruz: Anybody who goes after Mitch McConnell and calls the Senate Majority a liar, the same as Senile Harry Reid andugly is A-OK in my book. That will help him with hard core conservatives but may hurt him with fund raising.
8. Carly Fiorina: She is taking on Hillary better than anybody else and has better sound bites than Trump. But her poll numbers are horrible. Maybe the liberal media are afraid of a Hillary-Carly match-up and so that is not why they are covering her as much as Hillary?
9. Joe Biden: Technically, he is not in. Technically, he has not said he would run. Technically, he is a GOP dream candidate for all of his foot-in-mouth sound bites. Technically, he is the best alternative the Democrats have when Hillary drops out because members of the Secret Service spill all the beans about her and Bill and after it has been revealed Hillary is a really big bitch to the SS folks. You think they will take a bullet for her or will they blow air at the bullet, hoping it will miss the target.
10. Rand Paul: Daddy is still helping out son, especially with daddy appearing in commercials saying we are all facing financial doom. Rand Paul used to be unique with his more libertarian views, but with 16 other GOP presidential wannabes, he isn't standing out anymore. Maybe a few more 20+ hour filibusters might help and he had a good chance this week and past weekend but he was very quiet. Too quiet.
11. Marco Rubio: He gets downgraded in my book because of his good hair and body. This is going to be the ugly election and he is just too pretty. It will be interesting to see if we get a bunch of Cuba illegals and if they try to vote, will they vote for Rubio?
12. Jim Webb: In Wisconsin, when they think of Webb, they think of a hamburger place. Us old guys think of Jack Webb. No one else thinks much about him.
13. 13. Mike Huckabee: He made news this week saying the Iran nuclear deal will lead Israelis to the ovens, aka, Nazi Germany, which is true. He got under the skin of Obama, a few Democrats and Republicans and pretty much, no one else.
14. Bobby Jindal: When I think of the name "Bobby", I think of a Brady kid. Jindal is a great governor but he needs to introduce himself to people who don't like grown men using the name "Bobby". How about using a nickname, like "Donkey Killer", or the "Mean Cajun".
15. Rick Perry: Dude, Trump was right, you look goofy in those glasses and they don't make you look smarter. They make you look like a yuppie or a skinny and weak Drew Carey.
16. Martin O'Malley: Again, this is the ugly election and just because he has 6-pack abs doesn't mean you will get votes. Plus apologizing for saying that all lives matter, shows that you are really, really, really weak.
17. Dr. Ben Carson: Mostly has good conservative ideas, gives a great speech and he is a great story. But sorry to say, President Obama has made it impossible for another Black person to become president for the next 60 years.
18. Jim Gilmore: Well, he just entered, so he hasn't had time to make a name for himself or do something stupid...yet.
19. John Kasich: RINO running as a conservative. In this field, he will have to compete against a few others for that title, including Bush and this guy:
20. George Pataki: Why is he running? Other than those who really actually care, who know who Pataki is. Maybe he will get a few votes because his name sounds like George Takei, a gay man who played Hikaru Sulu on Star Trek.
21. Rick Santorum: Nice guy, good conservative. But to quote the great Leo Durocher: Nice guys finish last.
22. Lindsay Graham: He must have one hell of an ego to think he will get more than 2% in the polls. And he will lose a lot of votes to George Pataki-Takei.
23. Lincoln Chaffee. Republicans hate him. Democrats hate him. But it looks like he's gotten a bunch of them free meals.
And finally:
24: Pogo Mochello Reese- A Black Republican and former exotic dancer and supposedly friends with 4 Southern governors. With a name like that, he needs some consideration.
25: President Emperor Caesar, a Democrat from Florida. As a running mate, may I suggest Rome Murphy III, a Democrat from New Jersey who is also running for President.
In college sports, they have numerous polls showing who is in first place.

We Now Have Enough For 2 Baseball Teams+ Scrubs
And here comes another one.
Jim Gilmore, a former governor of Virginia is running for president and he is a Republican.
We already have enough Elephants and Donkeys to field a couple of baseball teams major contenders to filed 2 baseball teams plus a couple of scrubs.
We almost have enough major contenders to field a football team, if you include the kickers.
Why are most of the pretenders running for president?
Most likely ego, a tax write off and free food and drink.

Lion Hunting In Perspective
So a bunch of do gooders have gotten their panties in an uproar about a dentist shooting Cecil the Lion in Zimbabwe.
Ok, doesn't it seem kind of moronic that these same people who are crying about the lion say they want the dentist dead as well? A lion's worth more to these people than a human being.
A lion, which would gladly eat these lunatics for a snack in a heartbeat or less, except the liberal stink would probably protect these loonies.
From Time: The landlocked, southern African nation is one of the hardest-hit places on the continent when it comes to the killing of big game, both legal and illegal. It is a country where, Slate reports, “hunters exported 49 lion trophies in 2013 alone” and where, since Cecil’s death “it’s likely that at least a dozen other lions have been shot by trophy hunters.”A 2013 study in the journal Public Library of Science estimates that 96 lions were hunted per year between 1996 and 2006 in the country and 43 per year more recently. Lion trophy hunts were banned there in 2005 but allowed again after 2008. http://time.com/3978116/zimbabwe-cecil-the-lion-poaching-hunting-wildlife-walter-palmer/
Also, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service are going to investigate this issue?
Why?
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has no jurisdiction over there in Africa and so, other than it being a waste of time and money, it is also grandstanding.
I am not a hunter- I don't like hunting and I am a terrible shot, so, unless I am shooting at the Empire State Building or bigger, I would probably miss. Stevie Wonder blindfolded is a better shot than me.
I am about the only person in the world who will catch a fly and maybe even let it go back outside because I don't like killing things.
Having said that, nothing the dentist did was illegal or immoral. What he did was legal or at least he thought it was legal. maybe the locals broke the law, and even though the dentist is ultimately responsible to make sure laws were not broken, I am also sure he did not go up to the locals and say, "Lets go get Cecil".
So, a bunch of liberals have been bent all out of shape because a lion had a name, and the same lion which would eat them if not for their moronic stank.
And look at the bright side: By killing Cecil or other lions, look at all the wildlife that is being saved- deer, rabbits, oxen, people etc... You think lions just eat wild berries and sing Kumbaya at the local campfire? Whose looking out for those animals? Not these animal rights idiots.

Another Obama Immigration Murder
From Arizona Central:
Bond has been set at $1 million for the Russian national arrested at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport on Friday in connection with the fatal shooting of his ex-girlfriend.
In court records released Monday, police allege that Igor Zubko, 26, used a key he never returned to break into the home of 22-year-old Shayley Estes near 16th Street and Roeser Road in Phoenix. Zubko brought with him a handgun purchased Thursday through a private Internet sale, according to police....
Estes had obtained an order of protection against Zubko earlier this month
after their relationship had become strained, said Sgt. Trent Crump, a
Phoenix police spokesman. Her roommate told police Estes had ended the
relationship with Zubko in June but the two continued to argue over who
should move out.
Court records show Zubko sent Estes' roommate this threatening text message after the order was served: "She will be brutally murdered from Russia with love."
Police believe Zubko broke into the house on Friday, drank beer, broke a TV and then waited for Estes to come home from work. An argument ensued upon her arrival, and gunshots followed. Estes' roommate found her dead on the kitchen floor with gunshots to her back, abdomen and arms, according to police accounts.
http://www.azcentral.com/story/news/local/phoenix/breaking/2015/07/25/russian-national-arrested-shooting-girlfriend-phoenix-sky-harbor-abrk/30666799/
The liberal author decided that they would concentrate on the gun sale but ignored whether the thug was in the country legally or not.
So what if the guy was white, if the cops had a report that he was potentially violent, he should have been thoroughly investigated and possibly held for deportation if the threat was considered real.
But now a young lady is dead and she should not have been, all because of Obama's belief that illegals just don't commit crimes.

I Almost Agree With PETA
No, the guy should not be hanged but maybe he should be shamed and shunned.
From the Chicago Sun Times: The Internet is ablaze with hatred for Minnesota dentist Walter Palmer, the man who allegedly shot, killed, skinned and beheaded Cecil, Africa’s famous and beloved 13-year-old lion.
But perhaps no scorn has been as vitriolic as the statement released by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals earlier this afternoon.
The statement, released through the animal rights group’s Twitter account, dubbed Palmer an “over-privileged little man” and called for him to “be extradited, charged, and, preferably hanged.”...
Palmer said in a statement that he regretted killing the lion, but he thought his guides had “secured all the proper permits.”
“I had no idea that the lion I took was a known, local favorite, was collared and part of a study until the end of the hunt,” the statement says. “I relied on the expertise of my local professional guides to ensure a legal hunt.”
Zimbabwean police have now issued an arrest warrant for Palmer, who is being charged with poaching. http://national.suntimes.com/national-world-news/7/72/1545982/peta-cecil-the-lion-statement-hang-walter-palmer
I don't buy the hunter's excuse because he is the guy firing the gun and he is ultimately responsible.
I don't think I would object if the dentist is taken to Zimbabwe for trial. .

I don't think I would object if the dentist is taken to Zimbabwe for trial. .
Finally Over
Since Christmas, 2006, when my ex-wife walked out and started divorce proceedings, our court case is finally over.
Without going into much detail, my ex and I have been going to court 2-3 times since 2007. Most of the time, she would kick the our 2 kids out the house and then she would then demand, through the courts, to get the kids back.
The ex had hired at least 4 different Las Vegas divorce lawyers and they tried every trick in the book, including lies, perjury and big talking lawyer tricks.
In the end, they all failed and today, I have full physical custody of my 2 kids and they will never have to worry that the ex will ever psychologically harm them again.
However, there are no real winners, as the kids have basically lost their biological mom, unless they decide to make up later on in life, which would be a good thing.
But, I do take pride in saying that I did not back down against the Vegas lawyers and in the end, I won the case.
And I do have to give credit to Judge Bill Henderson of the Clark County Family Courts who did not hold it against me for representing myself. For the most part, he treated me fair.
So, finally, after 9 long years, my fight for my kids has finally ended and now hopefully, there is peace in the family.

Hillary The Hypocrite
From the U.K. Daily Mail:
Just hours after Hillary Clinton unveiled her presidential campaign's push to solve global warming through an aggressive carbon-cutting plan, she sauntered up the steps of a 19-seat private jet in Des Moines, Iowa.
The aircraft, a Dassault model Falcon 900B, burns 347 gallons of fuel per hour. And like all Dassault business jets, Hillary's ride was made in France.
The Trump-esque transportation costs $5,850 per hour to rent, according to the website of Executive Fliteways, the company that owns it.
And she has used the same plane before, including on at least one trip for speeches that brought her $500,000 in fees.
On Monday the Democratic presidential front-runner announced the details of her initiative to tackle climate change, calling it 'one of the most urgent threats of our time.'
But shortly afterward, a videographer working with the conservative America Rising PAC spotted her at the private air terminal in Des Moines.
FIfteen seconds of video shot just after 12:00 noon, local time, shows Clinton walking up the plane's stairs while an aide hodls a giant black umbrella over her head to sheld her from falling rain.
'Despite her campaign’s best efforts to rebrand her as a down-to-earth fighter for "everyday Americans," Hillary Clinton’s jet-setting ways are just further confirmation that she’s out of touch with the American people,' the group's communications driector Jeff Bechdel told DailyMail.com.
'It’s that kind of hypocrisy that makes the majority of voters say Clinton is not honest or trustworthy.'
Sadly, much of the U.S. press won't report on this worst presidential candidate ever hypocrisy.
Instead, we have to rely on the daily Mail and Drudge to report on this liberal moron.
The New Hobby In Las Vegas
From the Las Vegas Sun:
Police are seeking the public's help to identify suspects they say have been ramming stolen vehicles into law enforcement vehicles and fleeing the scene.
There have been six occurrences, including one this morning in which a vehicle stolen about 3 a.m. in the west valley was crashed into a nearby Nevada Highway Patrol vehicle, according to police.
The incidents began April 29 in Henderson and have also occurred in Las Vegas and Boulder City, police said.
The suspects typically steal a truck then rig the gas pedal to crash into unoccupied law enforcement vehicles, police said. The damaged vehicles have included Metro Police K-9 vehicles, an unmarked car and a U.S. Bureau of Reclamation K-9 vehicle, Officer Larry Hadfield said.
Surveillance video from one of the incidents shows a truck and sedan believed to be involved in the crimes, police said. http://lasvegassun.com/news/2015/jul/27/suspects-wanted-ramming-law-enforcement-vehicles/
Kind of strange... Stealing cars just to run into unoccupied police cars.
Must be the new hobby by the bored kids in Vegas and vicinity.
Police are seeking the public's help to identify suspects they say have been ramming stolen vehicles into law enforcement vehicles and fleeing the scene.
Investigators believe at least three people are involved in the scheme to crash into law enforcement vehicles around the valley, Metro Police said on Twitter.

Can The Police Ever Be Able To Do Their Job Again Without Fear Of Thugs?
This is just getting stupid.
From the NY Daily News: Police arresting a 25-year-old man who refused to leave a Brooklyn Target punched the man as they pinned him to the ground, a video posted online shows.
As four officers pin the squirming Alando Brissett down on the floor of the Flatlands store, a male and female officer punched him in the back several times, the tense 14-minute video shows.
“Stop f---ing hitting him,” one woman yelled as a crowd gathers during the Saturday night incident, which happened around 7:20 p.m., police said.
A woman in a blue shirt who walked toward the melee, pointing and apparently scolding the officers, is shooed away as more police arrive on scene, the video shows.
As cops hold down Brissett, the male officer who had punched him uses his knee to pin his head to the floor, according to the video.
“One person, 50 police,” one man yells as 15 to 20 more officers walk into the view of the lens. http://www.nydailynews.com/new-york/brooklyn/nypd-punch-pin-man-arrest-bklyn-target-video-article-1.2305763
This is getting ridiculous. The cops lately can't do their job without being videotaped or harassed.
This weekend in Cleveland, the cops arrested a Black 14 year old for being drunk in public and a group of Black thugs attacked the cops and the cops had to use tear gas to get the thugs to back off. It was a group of Black Lives Matter. http://www.newsnet5.com/news/local-news/cleveland-metro/protesters-rally-against-cleveland-police
So, these thugs would rather have the cops ignore a drunk 14 year old and let him continue so he could possibly harm himself and/or others?
But these same thugs stay silent when innocent Blacks are murdered by black thugs in their own community. These thugs are just as dangerous as the murderers that kill in their community because they either excuse or ignore the killing of innocents of their community.
But I guess, anybody with a cell phone with a camera can hit the jackpot if they see a cop doing their job against a thug who decides they want to run or fight it out with the cops. They tape and their tape just might the tabloids or the evening news.
and the cops, many I believe, are probably thinking they should let the thugs and let them destroy their community because some idiot decides they want to tape what is going on.

Mike Huckabee Is Right
The Democrats and GOP establishment RINO's are are all wringing and crying about what Mike Huckabee said about the horrible deal between the U.S. and a few of our equally corruptible allies and the Anti-Sematic, Israel hating country of Iran.
From Fox News: President Obama and Jeb Bush have drawn the ire of Sen. Ted Cruz after they attacked Gov. Mike Huckabee for his comments about the Iran
nuclear deal.
Huckabee said the president’s Iran policy would “take the Israelis and march them to the door of the oven.”
The president bristled at what he called a “ridiculous” comment.
“The particular comments of Mr. Huckabee are just part of a general pattern we’ve seen that would be considered ridiculous if it weren’t so sad,” he said.
“We’ve had a sitting senator call John Kerry Pontius Pilate. We’ve had a sitting senator, who also happens to be running for president, suggest that I’m the leading state sponsor of terrorism. These are leaders in the Republican Party.”
Cruz rebuffed the president’s slap and said it was “particularly sad today that President Obama chose to engage in gutter politics – attacking Mike Huckabee by name, attacking me – both of us for standing up against this catastrophic deal – rather than defending the merits.” http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2015/07/27/cruz-defends-huckabee-accuses-obama-gutter-politics.html?intcmp=hplnws
Here are a few facts:
Iran hates Israel so much that call for the destruction of Israel and death to all Jews.
Iran already sponsors terrorists who attack Israel like Hezbollah and other terrorist thugs.
Iran has called for the death to America.. by it's it SupremeAyatollah Ass Hole.
President Obama also hates Israel. While he says he doesn't hate Israel, his actions say otherwise.
So, Huckabee's comment was spot on. Iran would love to kill all the Jews in Israel and the world and the reference to Nazi Germany was spot on.
So, congrats to Huckabee for sticking up for Israel and hiss and boos to the GOP RINO's and the democrats, especially Obama.

The Once Proud FDNY Being Destroyed By Liberals
When you hear the initials FDNY (Fire Department Of New York or the New York City Fire Department), you think of the world best, the worlds bravest fire department and firefighters.
From 9-11 where they lost 343 firefighters that day and many more from 9-11 illnesses, the busiest to heroic rescues, to some of the most innovative equipment and strategies, to the most physically fit firefighters in the world.
Except now, the new firefighters are now allowed to fail the physical part of training and still become a firefighter.
From Fire rescue 1: An FDNY recruit is getting a third chance to pass the training academy after collecting over $81,000 for a year in desk jobs.
NY Post reported that Choeurlyne Doirin-Holder, 39, failed midway through a fire academy class in 2013 and returned to her former job as an EMT. She entered another class in 2014, but dropped out due to an injury. FDNY kept her on the payroll and she made $81,376 last year — about $26,000 more than what she made as an EMT and well more than the $39,370 starting firefighters earn.
"She was qualified as an EMT. She should have been serving the public while waiting for the next probie class, but was paid as a full-time firefighter to do office work and train on the payroll," a high-ranking source told the Post.
A classmate called Doirin-Holder "the most pathetic specimen of physical fitness I've ever seen," saying she failed to run 1.5 miles in 12 minutes, stopped to walk and got winded walking up stairs, according to the report.
Doirin-Holder declined to comment, referring questions to the FDNY.
"We don't discuss individuals or individual cases while in the academy," said spokesman Jim Long.
Fire Commissioner Daniel Nigro confirmed in a letter to firefighter union president Steve Cassidy that probationary firefighters no longer have to pass the FST if they do well on academics and practical skills or individual tasks. Also, they can demonstrate adequate aerobic capacity on a Stairmaster machine if they fail the 1.5 mile run, Nigro said. http://www.firerescue1.com/Firefighter-Training/articles/3016076-FDNY-recruit-fails-test-earns-81K-desk-job
At the average age of a middle age dinosaur, with back, knee and other physical aliments, I probably run the 1.5 miles in under 12 minutes. That pace is about 9 minutes a mile, which is a fast walking pace.
And when she failed this part of the test, she was able to land a desk job instead of going back to being an EMT and working on the ambulances and on to p of that, get a whole lot of overtime pay and make $81,000+ for the year, much more than the rookies or probies got, and they got through the fire academy, which is probably the toughest fire academy in the world.
And the reason why the FDNY is being ripped apart?
First, some liberal judges have decided that the FDNY discriminated against women and minorities based on the FDNY and ordered the FDNY to offer jobs to minority men and women and redo the testing procedures.
However, when ultra liberal Bill de Blasio was elected mayor, he refused to appeal the judge's rulings and he ordered the Fire commissioner/chief to dummy down firefighter requirements for those who tested and those who may be accepted to the fire academy.
So far, there have been a handful of minority women who have not passed the physical requirements of the fire academy but were accepted as firefighters nonetheless.
Not only is this moronic and dummy's down firefighting requirements needed to work on the busiest fire department in the world, they also put their fellow firefighters at risk and it becomes a life and death situation.
For instance, if a firefighter is trapped in a fire, how is a firefighter who is unable to run a slow mile and a half without almost collapsing be able to throw the injured firefighter over their shoulder and carry them out of the burning structure?
As an aside, is doing a walk/run on Stairmaster the same as actually doing some running or actually walking up 45 stories of a NYC high-rise?
Of course not and it shows just how moronic the upper echelon of the FDNY the mayor's office has become.
Or is they are not strong enough, can they carry 100 pounds of equipment into a fire or will they have to depend on their partner to carry their own equipment along with some of the out of shape firefighter's equipment.
So, once again, we see liberals trying to destroy a proud organization so that they can pat themselves on the shoulder and say what a good person they are, when in reality, they are putting other people in a life or death situations when it just so they can look good.
Which is a better indicator of how good a shape a person is by using this:

This Fire Chief Is Just A Big Government Liberal
Here in the Kingman, AZ, area one of the most conservative counties in the country, there is a crisis in fire protection and the fire chief in charge is just another big government liberal moron.
From the Kingman Daily Miner: The human cost of rapidly declining revenue for fire districts in Arizona can be found on the way to Las Vegas in Dolan Springs and Meadview, where waiting on help to arrive has turned into a frustrating and sometimes heartbreaking exercise in futility.
Not too long ago, the vast Lake Mohave Ranchos Fire District boasted seven ambulances, a number of fire vehicles and the staff to operate them. People bought homes in Dolan Springs and elsewhere in the district based in part on the confidence the robust department inspired.
What they didn't know was that the district was burning through its budget until it went bankrupt.
Today, the troubled district is down to three firefighter-paramedics and a fraction of its former fleet - and that trio must cover a district that encompasses a staggering 7,000 square miles.
To put that into perspective, the Lake Mohave Ranchos Fire District represents an area larger than four states and is nearly the size of New Jersey.
Troubled history
People in Dolan Springs say the dramatic downsizing has rendered the department incapable of responding to fire or EMS calls in a timely manner - or with the equipment and items they need to help residents.
When the district became insolvent, it was put on Patrick Moore to get it back on firm financial footing.
The only way for the chief of the Northern Arizona Consolidated Fire District to do that was to cut spending down to a level the district could afford, which happens to be three firefighter-paramedics, two stationed in Dolan Springs and one in Meadview.
Moore said he understands the frustration in Dolan Springs. Unfortunately, there are a number of issues in play that indicate things will not get better anytime soon.
Here are a few.
• The district is far too large for its limited assets.
• The district can only afford three firefighters and they do not earn as much as do their counterparts at other regional departments, including at Northern Arizona Consolidated, so turnover is a problem. Moore said it took about two months to fill a vacancy in the district, meaning it wasn't uncommon for a single firefighter to respond to fires and EMS incidents....
Moore agrees on the safety issue. He said state lawmakers passed a trio of new tax rules regarding fire districts that severely limit how much revenue they can generate. As a result, Moore rarely has enough firefighters on duty to safely fight a standard house fire, which is about a dozen, according to best practices guidelines for the Fire Service.
In a recent interview regarding tax laws that have cut funding to fire districts across the state, Moore said firefighters have been given pagers and are essentially on call to respond to incidents throughout the Northern Arizona Consolidated Fire District.
But Moore said the days of volunteers are all but gone because state and federal rules require volunteers to undergo the same training and to obtain identical certifications as paid firefighters. http://kdminer.com/main.asp?SectionID=1&SubSectionID=1&ArticleID=66751
So, according to this moron fire chief, it is better to go with 3 firefighters on duty in 7000 square miles, including a very long stretch of Hwy 93, which links Las Vegas and Phoenix.
There are far more volunteer firefighters and fire departments in the United States than full time paid fire departments and firefighters.
And all these volunteer fire departments have to train and hold the certifications- Firefighter 1 and 2. And then some people would just opt to work on the ambulance and they can become EMT's or even paramedics. Further, some people can help out by being drivers, doing paperwork, help out behind the scenes, direct traffic at emergencies and much more.
But this big government liberal hate the very idea that volunteer firefighters can do the same thing as paid firefighters. He feels threatened by volunteers and is probably afraid that a volunteer fire chief could do just as good of job as he can do. actually, that's probably not much of a stretch, considering how he runs the Northern Arizona Consolidated Fire department.
So, to me this shocking thinking- a big government liberal moron, in a very conservative, almost all Republican voting county.

I Don't Blame Reggie Jackson For Being Angry
From ESPN: Hall of Famer Reggie Jackson confirmed that he got into an altercation with a fan outside a Cooperstown restaurant Friday night but denied a report that the encounter turned physical.
The New York Daily News reported that Jackson, in Cooperstown for the Baseball Hall of Fame's induction weekend, was involved in what appeared to be a "heated, physical confrontation" with an autograph seeker. TMZ posted a 17-second video of the encounter Saturday.
Jackson told reporters that he ate dinner with a few friends at a sushi restaurant and was leaving through a back entrance when a group of fans began to gather. He said he was approached by one fan who had already gotten an autograph from him earlier Friday on the golf course.
Jackson said he used profanity and called a halt to the impromptu autograph session. He said he was getting in a car with his friends and leaving the restaurant when a scuffle appeared to break out behind him.
"I was upset because it was kind of an 'over and over' thing," Jackson said Saturday. "It's 10:00 at night -- it's time to go home. Leave us alone. So the words got heated. But as far as anybody touching someone, that did not come from me.
"I was disappointed that the yelling happened, but it's all day, all night sometimes with people. You wish those things don't happen. I've been stern before with people verbally, but you don't touch the public. In today's world, you can't do that." http://espn.go.com/mlb/story/_/id/13317808/reggie-jackson-acknowledges-confrontation-denies-shoving-fan-cooperstown
For some reason, people think they have a right to bother famous people who are out to eat with their friends or they are just doing their jobs.
I have been in the Pawn Stars pawn store when the stars of the show come out to do their work and some people just get so rude that they get in the star's face for no real reason, whatsoever.
Reggie Jackson just wanted to eat with his friend and some morons think they are more important than anything else.
so, I don't blame Reggie
Jackson for getting mad at some rude people who want his autograph.
Can't they just let the guy eat in peace with his friends?

They Didn't See This Coming?
From the LVRJ:
A fire caused an estimated $340,000 in damage to a Henderson business late Friday night.
The Henderson Fire Department responded to a call from The Psychic Reader, 140 E. Horizon Drive, at 10:45 p.m., spokeswoman Kathleen Richards said. Passing motorists in the area saw heavy smoke and flames in the area, prompting them to call for help.
Responding firefighters prevented the fire from spreading to nearby businesses. No injuries were reported, Richards said.
The cause of the fire was still under investigation on Saturday night.

Huh??
From the Havre Daily News: Officers investigated a 3:21 p.m. Thursday complaint at the police station about keys that were found by Lincoln-McKinley School. http://www.havredailynews.com/story/2015/07/24/local/for-the-record-july-24-2015/504928.html
That must be 1 hell of a school to find keys and turn them into the cops.
Journalism is so quickly going down the drain.

Thank You Scott Walker
Take on government unions and you are dangerous????
From the Washington Post: “First off,” Scott Walker proclaimed, “we took on the unions, and we won. We won!”
Taking on the unions is usually first off for Walker, the Wisconsin governor and Republican presidential candidate. It is the very rationale for his candidacy. And on Thursday, he took a detour from the campaign trail to appear here before the annual meeting of the conservative American Legislative Exchange Council, a group of state legislators dedicated in large part to defeating unions....
This is the essence of Walker’s appeal — and why he is so dangerous. He is not as outrageous as Donald Trump and Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Tex.), but his technique of scapegoating unions for the nation’s ills is no less demagogic. Sixty-five years ago, another man from Wisconsin made himself a national reputation by frightening the country about the menace of communists, though the actual danger they represented was negligible. Scott Walker is not Joe McCarthy, but his technique is similar: He suggests that the nation’s ills can be cured by fighting labor unions (foremost among the “big government special interests” hurting the United States), even though unions represent just 11 percent of the U.S. workforce and have been at a low ebb. https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/why-scott-walker-is-so-dangerous/2015/07/23/8b462bea-3182-11e5-97ae-30a30cca95d7_story.html
First, if you piss off a guy with a girl's name, you are not doing too badly.
And yes, government unions have done much damage to the country, on the Federal, State and local levels and Walker dealt with it.
And it made things better.
Before, the unions dictated how the workers would work, now the supervisors do.
And the unions are just not that popular in the government sector, as the unions have lost a significant number of government workers. Is the union angry? Of course because the union leaders are not getting all the mandatory dues that they got before Act 10 and now these union thug leaders are no longer living high on the hog or union worker. Their lavish lifestyles are being diminished in Wisconsin and that is a good thing.
So, thank you Scott Walker. Thank you for taking on government unions and winning.

From Fox News:
An extraordinary scene unfolded on the Senate floor Friday as Republican Sen. Ted Cruz bluntly accused Majority Leader Mitch McConnell of lying and said he's running the Senate like his Democratic predecessor.
The charges from the Texas senator and GOP presidential candidate were a rare departure from the Senate's usual staid decorum, even for a politician famous for his fiery speeches.
At issue were assurances Cruz claimed McConnell, R-Ky., had given that there was no deal to allow a vote to renew the federal Export-Import Bank -- a little-known federal agency that has become a rallying cry for conservatives. Cruz rose to deliver his remarks moments after McConnell had lined up a vote on the bank.
"It saddens me to say this. I sat in my office, I told my staff the majority leader looked me in the eye and looked 54 Republicans in the eye. I cannot believe he would tell a flat-out lie, and I voted based on those assurances that he made to each and every one of us," Cruz said.
"What we just saw today was an absolute demonstration that not only what he told every Republican senator, but what he told the press over and over and over again, was a simple lie."
Reports had emerged earlier this year that McConnell privately pledged a vote on the Ex-Im Bank, in exchange for winning support on President Obama's trade agenda. Cruz says he was assured at the time there was no deal.

Cruz is right. McConnell is a disgrace and is an Obama light model.
And thanks to the morons in Kentucky, we are stuck with this idiot in the Senate for the foreseeable future.
Thanks Obama
From the LVRJ:
Two former detainees at the Guantanamo Bay prison in Cuba were arrested by Belgian police in a counterterrorism operation targeting a recruiting network for al Qaeda in Syria.
They were arrested Wednesday night along with three others as they were about to break into a house to raise funds in the town of Hoboken, near Antwerp, a senior Belgian counterterrorism official told CNN.
"We have dismantled a serious recruiting network for Syria," the official told CNN.
One of the former Guantanamo Bay detainees was Moussa Zemmouri, 37, a Moroccan national born in Antwerp, Belgian federal prosecutors announced Friday. The other was an Algerian identified as Soufiane A., who prosecutors believe spent time in Syria.
Both have been charged with participating in the activities of a terrorist group and all five have been charged with attempted armed robbery. http://www.reviewjournal.com/news/nation-and-world/ex-guantanamo-bay-detainees-arrested-belgian-police

Cute
How could anyone resist those faces? Apparently, no one, once a picture of hugging dogs Kala and Keira were posted on Facebook with a plea to save their lives.
It only took two hours for someone to rescue the dogs, who were in a shelter but couldn’t find anyone to adopt them, Angels Among Us Pet Rescue in Atlanta posted on Facebook.
The post of the hugging dogs — a black-and-white boxer mix (Keira) and Kala, the puppy-faced brown pooch desperately clinging to the other’s neck — went online Monday. The pet rescue was desperate to get them adopted, as both were scheduled to be euthanized within hours, People added.
We have 4 rescue dogs at our home, all from the street where they were abandoned by their owners, so it is good to see the dogs being rescued and into, hopefully, loving homes.
And This Is Obama"s General
Good thing he is retiring soon or he would have been fired.
From Fox News: The Army’s top officer told Fox News Tuesday it’s “frustrating” to watch the gains he helped achieve in Iraq disintegrate at the hands of the Islamic State, saying in an exit interview that the chaos now unfolding “might have been prevented” had the U.S. stayed more engaged.
Army Chief of Staff Gen. Ray Odierno, weeks away from retirement after 39 years in uniform, spent more time in Iraq than any other U.S. Army general -- more than four years, the last two as top commander. He is widely viewed as a key architect of the Iraq surge....
“It's frustrating to watch it,” Odierno said. “I go back to the work we did in 2007, 2008, 2009, and 2010 and we got it to a place that was really good. Violence was low, the economy was growing, politics looked like it was heading in the right direction.”
Odierno said the fall of large parts of Iraq was not inevitable, reiterating concerns about the pace of the U.S. troop withdrawal there.
“If we had stayed a little more engaged, I think maybe it might have been prevented,” he said. “I've always believed the United States played the role of honest broker between all the groups and when we pulled ourselves out, we lost that role.”
In 2009, while still the top commander in Iraq, Odierno recommended keeping 30,000-35,000 U.S. troops after the end of 2011, when the U.S. was scheduled to pull out. The recommendation was not followed.
“I think it would have been good for us to stay,” Odierno said, when asked if it was a mistake to pull out....
While Odierno says he supports the recently announced nuclear deal with Iran, he warned that Iran will not change its behavior in the region.
“Iran has continued to do malign activities throughout the Middle East [and] they will continue,” warned Odierno, who blamed Iran for contributing to the unraveling of Iraq and the rise of ISIS.
Dempsey recently told Congress that Iran was responsible for roughly 500 American deaths, an estimate Odierno did not dispute.
Odierno said of Iran: “We can't be naïve.”
http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2015/07/21/exclusive-army-chief-odierno-in-exit-interview-says-us-could-have-prevented/
General Odierno must have bit his tongue a couple of times a day when he worked as Obama's lead General and the poor guy probably has no feeling in his tongue.

Somewhat Personal
Last week, while at work, I was helping to unload a semi-trailer at the local K-Mart, where I worked.
As I was climbing into the trailer, my foot slipped and my knee crashed into the metal plating.
Now, my leg is still quite swollen and bruised and I have doing a lot of bed rest, when not at work, so I have not been able to do much blogging.
But, it kind of pisses me off because our store has decided that us old folks have to do the heavy lifting jobs while the 18-25 year olds do the light duty mop up work. Because of this, I got hurt.
So, please bear with me as I try to heal from the injury.

Union Thug going Bye Bye To Prison
When you look in the dictionary for the word "thug" this thug's picture is shown prominently.
From Philly.com: Joseph Dougherty, once one of the city's most powerful labor leaders and an unapologetic enemy of nonunion builders, was sentenced Monday to 19 years and two months in federal prison for overseeing a years-long campaign of sabotage, arson, and intimidation to keep members of his Ironworkers Local 401 employed.
The sentence - the stiffest in a racketeering conspiracy case that led to convictions of 11 other ironworkers - was hailed as a significant victory in a city where contractors have long complained of the violent tactics employed by some construction unions. Comparing Dougherty to Lady Macbeth, U.S. District Judge Michael Baylson chastised the 73-year-old business manager for acting behind the scenes and relying on "an army of ironworkers" to commit crimes for him. "That's the real tragedy of this case," Baylson said. "His leadership led to a lot of damage. It led to a lot of crimes. It continued the bad reputation Philadelphia has for tolerating union violence."
That list included some of the most high-profile incidents in the city's recent history, such as the 2012 arson of a Quaker meetinghouse in Chestnut Hill, the baseball-bat beatings of nonunion workers outside a King of Prussia Toys R Us in 2010, and an all-out brawl in 2013 between ironworkers and members of the Carpenters union. http://philly.com/

It's Tough To be A Weak Kneed Liberal
No wonder is last in the polls.
From CNN: Democratic presidential candidate Martin O'Malley apologized on Saturday for saying "All lives matter" while discussing police violence against African-Americans with liberal demonstrators.
From CNN: Democratic presidential candidate Martin O'Malley apologized on Saturday for saying "All lives matter" while discussing police violence against African-Americans with liberal demonstrators.
Several dozen demonstrators interrupted the former Maryland governor while he was speaking here at the Netroots Nation conference, a gathering of liberal activists, demanding that he address criminal justice and police brutality. When they shouted, "Black lives matter!" a rallying cry of protests that broke out after several black Americans were killed at the hands of police in recent months, O'Malley responded: "Black lives matter. White lives matter. All lives matter."
The demonstrators, who were mostly black, responded by booing him and shouting him down.
Later that day, O'Malley apologized for using the phrase in that context if it was perceived that he was minimizing the importance of blacks killed by police.
"I meant no disrespect," O'Malley said in an interview on This Week in Blackness, a digital show. "That was a mistake on my part and I meant no disrespect. I did not mean to be insensitive in any way or communicate that I did not understand the tremendous passion, commitment and feeling and depth of feeling that all of us should be attaching to this issue." http://www.cnn.com/2015/07/18/politics/martin-omalley-all-lives-matter/index.html
There are so many things wrong here.
First, O'Malley was right, all lives matter but all these black liberal haters think that only black thugs who resist arrest or run from the cops, well, there lives matter most. These same liberal black leaders will not say a darn word about all the black violence in the inner cities which are killing not only black gang members but also killing the innocent Black children, the elderly and those who have nothing to do with gangs or crimes.
And no wonder O'Malley is doing so badly in the polls. He his the polar opposite of Donald Trump. While Trump is arrogant and brash, O'Malley is timid and afraid. O'Malley makes President Obama look like a Churchill or a Reagan instead of a Neville Chamberlin.
If O'Malley was elected president, can you imagine what kind of talks he would have with Vladimir Putin? Heck, we would be drinking vodka and eating Borscht within a month of his inauguration. Finally, why is he on a show named "This Week In Blackness"?
Can you imagine if a Trump or Walker was on a show named "This Week In Whiteness"?
Can you imagine if a Trump or Walker was on a show named "This Week In Whiteness"?

Amateur Leading British Open
This hasn't happened since 1927.
From ESPN: Paul Dunne strode along the 18th fairway Sunday afternoon, soaking in the cheers, waving to the crowd, acting like the Old Course was his own personal playground.
And for a day, at least, it was.
His 66 tied him atop The Open leaderboard, in some heady company, with a different kind of history within his grasp. No amateur has won The Open since Bobby Jones in 1930. No amateur has led The Open through 54 holes since Jones in 1927. http://espn.go.com/golf/theopen15/story/_/id/13277336/amateur-dunne-inches-closer-own-open-history
If you are a bettor, he is going off as a 20-1 shot to win tomorrow. At the beginning of the tournament, he was a 1500-1 shot to win.

Packers Retire Favre's Number
Just imagine, 67,000 people paid to see Brett Favre's number 4 retired from the Green Bay Packers. No game, no concert. Just seeing the ceremony.
From ESPN: Former Green Bay Packers president Bob Harlan called him the "greatest player we've ever had," but on the day Brett Favre was inducted into the Packers Hall of Fame and his No. 4 retired, the legendary former quarterback was more humbled by the fans.
More than 67,000 of them packed Lambeau Field to watch Favre's induction on the stadium video boards, a sign that all had been forgiven for the way his career in Green Bay ended in the summer of 2008, when he unretired and was traded to the New York Jets, only to play two more seasons for the rival Minnesota Vikings.
"It was like I never left," Favre said Saturday of walking back onto Lambeau Field. "It was a great feeling."
Favre is the sixth Packers player to have a number retired by the team, joining Tony Canadeo (3), Don Hutson (14), Bart Starr (15), Ray Nitschke (66) and Reggie White (92). http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/13280080/brett-favre-humbled-fan-response-green-bay-packers-hall-fame-induction
I am kind of surprised that 67,000 paid, and in fact the tickets sold out in just a couple of hours, even though Favre decided to play the hated Minnesota Vikings.
But hey, Favre was a spectacular player who brought the Packers out of has beens and won a Super Bowl.
So, congratulations to Favre and thanks for the memories.

More Evidence Dogs Are Smarter Than Humans
Today, in Kingman and surrounding areas, we had thunderstorms with flash flooding throughiut the area.
My dogs, all 4 of them, would not step outside to do their business.
However, at K-Mart, many people decided that during the height of the storm, that would be a good time to go shopping. Shopping for swimming pools, backpacks and other assorted junk.
I can imagine what some families said:
"Hey ma, it's raining and thundering outside. Gather the kids and let's go to Wal-Mart to buy us some school supplies and a swimming pool. Maybe buy us a vacuum cleaner. After all, it can't wait 4 hours for the rain to stop".
Yep, there are times when dogs are smarter than us humans.

muslim Terrorist Killed The Marines
I'm shocked, I tell you, just shocked.
From CBS: A gunman unleashed a barrage of gunfire at two military facilities Thursday in Tennessee, killing at least four Marines and wounding a soldier and a police officer, officials told CBS News.
The shooter also was killed. Two law enforcement sources told CBS News that the shooting suspect was identified as Muhammad Youssef Abdulazeez. http://www.cbsnews.com/news/report-police-officer-shot-near-tennessee-army-recruiting-center/
Considering that this is the last day of ramadan, I guess this terrorist attack is not surprising.
And I am sure the Obama administration and Senile Harry Reid will just call this a "work place incident", just like they did for the Fort Hood terrorist attack.

Obama Visits Future Home
From Fox News: From the White House to the big house, President Obama made an unprecedented presidential visit to a federal prison Thursday as part of his push for changes to the criminal justice system.
The president, after issuing dozens of commutations and tackling the subject during an NAACP address earlier this week, toured the El Reno Federal Correctional Institution, a medium-security prison for male offenders near Oklahoma City.
http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2015/07/16/obama-making-1st-visit-by-sitting-president-to-federal-prison/
Someone, either the president or his staff, are completely tone deaf.
Don't they realize the fun people will have with this story? How late night shows will make fun of this? How talk show hosts will lampoon him and bloggers will make fun of this?
Over half the country dislike or hate Obama and many of us, and me included, think he deserves to be behind bars at a maximum security prison.
It does make me wonder if he will issue a pardon for himself and others in his administration just before he leaves office.
