Today, the Green Bay Packers pretty much kicked the Washington Redskins butt in the NFC wild card playoff, 35-18.
It makes me wonder if Mike McCarthy, coach of the Packers, lost on purpose last week against the Minnesota Vikings.
McCarthy, because they played the last regular season game, knew that the choice would be a choice of playing Washington, a lousy team in Washington or playing Seattle, a very good playoff team in Green Bay.
It looks like McCarthy decided to take Washington and let Minnesota take Seattle.
Looks good now, as Seattle luckily won in Minnesota and the Packers won in Washington.
Now, Seattle plays Carolina and the Packers play Arizona, who is a good team but no Carolina.
McCarthy may be a genius.
