From JSONLINE: "Battered by declining attendance and wagering, Dairyland Greyhound Park in Kenosha, which lost $3.4 million last year, is considering closing after this season, a racetrack executive said Saturday" http://www.jsonline.com/news/wisconsin/63934757.html
When I lived in Wisconsin, I enjoyed going to Dairyland. I even won some money there and probably am ahead there.
It is a neat experience to watch the greyhounds race. Even though I usually bet the minimum, it was fun to get the winning numbers and win $10 and frustrated after studying the book intenslely and find yourself losing to some stupid dog who didn't know his butt from a hole in the wall.
Hopefully, Dairyland will find a way to stay open.
