A great big Happy Birthday to Greg Maddux, a future Hall of Famer and a proud Las Vegas resident.Even though he played for the pathetic Chicago Cubs, he still managed to stay cool and classy.

ummmm atlanta brave sir. yes everyone knows he was a cub however more importantly he was an atlanta brave. i agree the chicago cub clubs he played on were pathetic, but he also played almost all of his years (1990's) on the "team of the 90's." all the mans awards, all his national league championships and world series rings and playoff victories, come as a brave. sure he came up a cub however no one pictures him in an unlucky cub jersey when they think of greg maddux. they picture him owning all sides of the plate amongst the other great arms an atlanta at the time. he was a cub, but will go into the hall as a brave, and thats the club he will always be remembered with. happy birthday mad dog
ReplyDeleteI know he was with the Braces for a little bit, but hey, i grew up in milwaukee and we are still ticked off that the Braves stole our team- the Milwaukee Braves.
