Of the cities listed, I've been to 15 of them. Not sure if that is good or bad.
I can see how Milwaukee is rated #3-I've grew up and lived there as an adult. There are bars and/or liquor stores on just about every block. Milwaukee was ranked #1 last year.
I can also see why Las Vegas is down on the list. You take away the Strip and downtown areas, along with the large casinos, where the tourists like to hang out, there is not a lot of places to drink. There are virtually no corner bars. Many of the bars are located in strip malls or places where you have to drive to. There aren't that many bars you can walk to. We also have a large Mormon population, and that will cut down on the drinking statistics. Last year, Las Vegas was ranked 36 out of 40.
So, congratulations to Milwaukee for being #3 and to "sober" Las Vegas at 14.
