From The Daily Mail, U.K.: An elderly motorist was killed in a freak road accident after she was hit by the severed head of a deer that was hit by another car.
Rosemary Bower, 70, died after a deer's head plunged through her windshield, causing her car to careen off the road in rural Reynoldsville, Pennsylvania.
Police said the deer had become airborne after being hit by another car traveling in front of her.
The impact sent the deer hurtling over a car driven by Rocco Ford and Scott Elgoff.
It landed on her vehicle and the impact.
Mrs Bower's car continued driving until it ran off the road into a ditch in rural Reynoldsville.
Police said the other two drivers involved in the death crash will not face any charges. Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2079939/Elderly-driver-70-killed-car-crash-severed-deer-head-flies-windscreen.html#ixzz1i4Cb8JC6
The poor lady probably never knew or would want to know what hit her.
Deers are dangerous. When I lived in Wisconsin and in less than 2 years, I hit 5 deer and deer hit me. I totaled 2 cars and severely damaged 2 more. In the 5 cases, the deer charged out of the woods and in front of my car and they were hit. Only 1 deer died- strong deer. One time I was stopped to let some deer cross the street and a deer jumped out of the woods and hit my car when the car was standing still. The deer gave me a dirty look and walked away.
So, prayers to the family and friends of the victim, Rosemary Bower.
