Actually, Vincent High School in Milwaukee is about as ghetto school as you can get.
From jsonline: There is a hard lesson being taught to the Milwaukee Vincent and Milwaukee Riverside football teams and hopefully everyone else pays attention.
Three players from Vincent and six from Riverside were suspended for the balance of the regular season for their role in a fight that occurred when the teams played Sept. 27. The powers that be at the Milwaukee Public Schools deemed the incident bad enough to cancel both teams' next contest. For Riverside that meant an embarrassing cancellation of a Thursday night TV game. For Vincent that meant no homecoming game.
The district also suspended head coaches Leroy Jackson of Vincent and Patrick Wagner of Riverside for the final three games of the regular season, a penalty that surprised both men.

I started my teaching career at Vincent, when Vincent was winning state basketball state championship after another in the late 1990's.
It also introduced me to how awful a school district MPS is.
One day, I witnessed a teacher strike a severely physically and mentally disabled student because the student was "too loud". It was a hard slap to the girl's face.
Well, I reported the abuse to the assistant principal, who did nothing. I then reported the abuse to Gloria Erkins, the principal at the time, and she did nothing. Little did I know, at the time, that the teacher involved, Chris Hansen, was a relative to Erkins through marriage.
After nothing happened, I went to the area Special Education supervisors and all the way up to the MPS superintendent's office and they refused to even conduct an investigation, even though an abuse occurred.
in the end, I was transferred to another school and nothing ever happened to Hansen and Erkins.
So, I am not surprised that a bunch of thug players from Vincent and a bunch of thug players from Riverside decided to brawl and the coaches were suspended.
