A woman arrested on a murder charge Saturday said she killed her pimp in self-defense, according to police reports.
Lisa Renee Davis, 43, told police she stabbed Sheldon Wesley in the home they had shared near Washington Avenue and Cimarron Road after he threatened to kill her, according to her arrest report.
Davis had been working as a prostitute and Wesley had been her pimp, but they were also in a relationship, according to the report. http://www.reviewjournal.com/news/woman-tells-police-she-killed-pimp-self-defense
