The liberal media, which shares the bed with Michelle and President Obama, is out to slander potential conservative candidates for Congress.
The latest example from the Mississipi Clarion Ledger:
State Sen. Chris McDaniel and others say he was out of state and did not attend a “neo-Confederate” conference and ball in Laurel that “Mother Jones” is reporting he attended and addressed.
McDaniel, under scrutiny after announcing a run last week for U.S. Senate, says he was in Chicago for an American Legislative Exchange Council conference and did not attend the event in Laurel. State Sen. Michael Watson, a friend and supporter of McDaniel, and other state lawmakers have confirmed they were with McDaniel at the Chicago ALEC conference.
The “Mother Jones” report, which has been picked up by other national news media, said McDaniel spoke at the August “Southern Heritage Conference” of the Jones County Rosin Heels, a chapter of the Sons of Confederate Veterans. It says other speakers included an historian that believes President Lincoln was a Marxist and a former McDaniel campaign worker who still questions Barack Obama’s birth certificate.
The article says George Jaynes of the Rosin Heels confirmed McDaniel’s attendance at the event.
But Jaynes, contacted by phone Thursday, said McDaniel did not attend the event. Photos on the Rosin Heels website from the event don’t include McDaniel. http://www.clarionledger.com/article/20131024/NEWS/131024016/McDaniel-others-refute-story-about-him-Confederate-event?nclick_check=1
I'm sure the media will treat all candidates, be it Democrat or GOP, the same.
And if you believe that, you also believe that ObamaCare is a good program.
