Sorry for the late post. I was at a high school football game in Overton, NV., about 60 miles north of Las Vegas.
Rick Harrison had an interview with Fox News the other day: Unlike many reality show families, the Harrisons (and buddy Chumlee), of “Pawn Stars,” aren’t exactly tabloid magnets. In fact, since their show made-it-big in 2009, the History Channel stars have remained scandal-free… almost.
Last year, the Harrisons were thrust into the headlines when their shop girl-- and co-star at the time-- Olivia Black was canned by History after it was revealed she did some racy nude modeling, a decision Rick Harrison had no part in, he said.
He told FOX411 he made it a point to keep her on as a member of the Gold & Silver Pawn staff, albeit off cameras.
“I never fired her. She’s out doing her own thing now. It’s just the production company did not want her working there anymore. What she does in her personal life…is her business,” he explained.
Black confirmed that she has since left her job at Gold & Silver Pawn, simply stating: “It was very apparent my time there was done.”
Harrison, his father Richard, his son Corey, and co-star Austin “Chumlee” Russell, also got wrapped into a lawsuit with former manager Wayne Jefferies, who claimed he was forced out of the show by producers.

In the first new episode, the first guy brought in a 2006 Dodge Magnum, which looked a little rusted, on purpose. The guy made it look like a battleship. The doors were put on backwards. It had 103,000. The guy wanted $35,000 and Corey offered $6000 so the guy decided to pawn it and Corey offered $3000 and that was the deal.
The story line was the store's uniforms and Chumlee tried to design a new shirt. He went to a t-shirt design place and came up with a really ugly shirt, with logos all over the shirt. The one shirt would have cost $126. No deal there.
He ended up with a gray t-shirt that aid "Gold and Sliver Shop", with stains on it.
The next guy brought in a 1961 Fender Stratocaster guitar. The seller is a studio musician. The guitar was in the movie "Hard Days Night". The seller is a guy named of Vic Flick: http://www.guitarman.com/
The guy wanted $70,000 and time for an expert, Jesse from Cow Town records. Jesse played the guitar and said it worked. (watch the people in the background when Jesse played the guitar- they didn't move). Jesse said by it's self the guitar was worth $35,000 and because of the history of the guitar, it was worth up to $70,000.
Rick offered $50,000and the came down to $60,000 and Rick offered $55,000 and that was the deal. But why did the guy sell it?
The lady brought in antique pictures to help teach English way back in the day. She had 4 pictures and probably from the early 1800's and maybe from England. It also came with a brass plate with the ABC's on it from the 19th century. However, the brass plate may not have been real and the pictures were not worth anything- no sale.
In the 2nd episode, Chumlee complained about bed bugs at his house. Because of this, he needed to stay with someone for a few days, so he got to stay at the Old Man's house.
He brought over his pit bulls. Grandma was not in the house.
Of course the to drove each other nuts and the Old Man told his stories.
The first guy brought in a Soviet Union/Russian Cold War uniform, which belonged to a General. The guy wanted $1000 and time for an expert, Craig. He said this was a KGB uniform. The general was a 3 star general. The uniform was made in 1976 and they were worth about $700. It was worth less because it was a newer uniform and Rick offered $400and then $425 and the selling price, with the help of Corey, was $450.

He wanted to buy 1924 Dodge touring Sedan the shop had for sale. Chop offered $5000 and Rick wanted $10,000. Chop went to $7000 and rick went $8000 and the sale price was $7900 cash. According to Chop's web site, the car will be on 2 shows, so we will see.

They were used to hide body odor. They would keep these small boxes in their pockets and they are from the mid 1800's. The guy wanted $3500 fort he collection and Rick offered $700 and there was no sale.
