I've lived in Kingman now for about 2 1/2 months and the critters I see are interesting to say the least.
This deer (I think, unless it is a baby elk) greeted us today when we went to the Hualapai Mountain Resort in the Hualapai Mountains, about 12 miles from RT 66
This deer has a future as a deer greeter at Wal-Mart.
The grasshopper in the next picture is at least 2 inches+ big. The other day, I saw him take up a parking spot at school:
The hopper is hanging upside down from the ceiling. He had a role in Bugs Life.
The following Diamondback Rattlesnake was found on our kickball, playing kickball with our students.
He tried to catch a ball, but the ball popped. However, he made friends with a couple of kindergarteners and had them for dinner.
